Why is INFLATION so HIGH right now?
US inflation at the end of 2021 was 7%, the fastest rate since the early 1980s. In the UK, inflation jumped to 5.4%, the highest since the early 1990s while in the Eurozone, inflation hit 5%, the fastest pace in the currency’s history. And as high as these figures are, they actually understate the true extent to which prices are rising. So why are prices rising so quickly?

8 Crazy Facts About 1980s Japan
Просмотров 28 тыс.2 года назад
Japan throughout the 80s was a wild place, with incomprehensible wealth and fortune. Through the inflation of a bubble in property and stock prices, Japan seemed to be approaching global dominance. And though the whirlwind period at the end of the decade has largely faded from public consciousness, a brief look back at the height of the bubble illustrates just how crazy things really got. 00:00...

    Interesting video! Without a doubt, "the dark lady of Osaka" was the most surprising to me; I'd never heard about her. Just a pro-tip: "Yakuza" isn't pronounced "yuh *KOOZ* uh", it's *"YAH* koo-zah". Brits and Americans always seem to mispronounce it for some reason.

    Japan is so magnificent, that Narcissists have been trying to exterminate the Nation since 16th century! West tried to burn Japanese Shinto religion! Thankfully, Shogunate managed to defeat and kick those who didn't respect Japanese culture out! But Damyo Toyotomi Hideyoshi worried that Westerners will come back! He tried to create a first defence line in Korean peninsula but his attempts were doomed to fail. Because, Koreans held resentment due to their failures of annexing Japan in 13th century. Japan was colonized by West in the 1860s! West destroyed spectacular Satoyama economy and established Global New Order! West enforced harsh rules and expected Japan to collapse from debts. But! Japanese outsmarted Westerners and achieved Japan's 1st economic miracle! Scrambled world rejoiced from Japanese success! Germany waged Manchu-Japanese proxy War! Japan defeated Germany in 1895! German Kaiser Wilhelm II declared world war against Japan at the same year! Kaiser persuaded his cousin Tsar Nickolas to ignore Japanese proposal for peaceful co existence and attack Japan immediately! Japan didn't want to wage war against West. Why would they? West instead, had no way to stop Japanese prowess, other than wage war. Narcissists are waging smear campaigns against their targets. They cannot live under the shadow of someone superior to them! According to Anglo-Saxon Social Darwinism, old world cultures do not deserve to exist. West have been trying to exterminate the inhabitant cultures of world. Today, Western world is so predictable! Just by observation, West is waging wars against Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Vietnam, Lebanon, Cuba, Russia and so on! It was always this way! West is the predator of Humanity. West cannot co exist with different worlds! Japanese history is a Big Lie! Nazis (3rd Reich) root to 1st Reich! 1st Reich is the foundation of Western world. Nazis and Ku Klux Klan root to Crusaders! They hate Japan more than anyone else! West is 12 centuries old, quite enough time to draw solid conclusions about Western mentality. Make no mistake! West is the epitome of Narcissism. Present is formed by Past. Present is shaping Future. Each world separately, is the reflection of its ancestors! Japanese owe their magnificent mentality to their ancestors! West is brainwashing generations to feel ashamed of their ancestors and deny their identity! <<<The most effective way to exterminate a Nation is to obliterate the evaluation of Nation's History under that Nation's point of view! This way, National Conscience becomes obsolete and population is keen to adopt PREDATOR'S identity! In a healthy world, Japan would lead humanity!

    i keep seeing a pattern of how western media keeps omitting crucial info that japan had a great economic recovery after ww2 cuz it had great technology in science and engineering during its colonial days before ww2 by amassing wealth through slavery and human experiments on colony residents. Second, during the Korean War, the US built their military industry complex in Japan for faster logistics which also catapulted the recovery.

    The fact that their banks managed to dominate THAT MUCH over european and american ones is the most impressive I would say. Just one island country at the eastern most of the earth managed to outcompete the whole western world in banking. Unfortunately it was short-lived. Really hope to see the Japanese make their comeback again one day. I don't want the USA or China leading this world.

    • @jsslgn
      @jsslgn 10 месяцев назад

      It was shortlived because the western world especially the US clipped Japan's wings, just like what it's doing with China now by engaging in trade wars. Once the US fully succumbed Japan, they now want Japan to thrive as their "wingman" in Asia. The US would want you to thrive, but not want you surpass them. Talk about evil in disguise.

    Japan ruled West two times. First time was before 1900s. Whole world was a Western colony, when Japan lost its sovereignty to Commodore Perry and his Western gang. West did not "open Japan" to the World, rather they exposed Japan to Globalization, expecting to follow the path of the scrambled world and become a colony. But Japan shocked them and become the hero of Scrambled World, because Japan precipitated racist doctrine of Germanic Superiority. German Kaiser Wilhelm II could not hold his angst and frustration. In 1895, he declared World War against Japan and urged Germanic world to get ready for this war. He ordered his cousin Tsar Nickolas to start the offensive. Japanese acknowledged they could not defend their achievements(getting control of German-dominated areas in Far East) against West. Even though Japan lacked minerals necessary for its Industry, they step back. USA betrayed their Ally Japan in 1922 by exposing them to Bolsheviks, because Japan supported Black rights movement against Ku Klux Klan(the Nazis of America). By the 1980s, world's richest and more powerful companies were only Japanese! Western governments changed Capitalistic economic system to Communist and intervened. USA loot Japanese intellectual property. Competitors gained access to Japanese tech and Market secrets. Japan lost its advantage and Western sanctions brought Japan to its knees. Economic Bubble was the outcome of Western raiding over Japanese economy. Numbers don't lie. Japanese debt-to-GDP used to be 30% and now has reached 260% West blames Japan, just as Crusaders blamed their victims for all the hardships Crusaders caused at them. Japan is the victim of Narcissists. Narcissists cannot live in a world where someone else is better than them.

    Great video, but about 20 largest company by market cap, I think this Index can't be show as a real power, once the market cap of some companies can bê inflated by speculation. But the Eighties were crazies in Japan: many people put gold dust in the food because someone told It extended life, many piece of art, as Van Gogh's, were bought in auctions by record prices. As a japanese told to Nikkei refering the 30th Bubbles Burst: life in that time was like an endless party.
