I'm more interested in my power cord not hanging down. I might run it to my 12V charging port in my trunk. I have three. One by the front console, one in the back seat and one in the trunk. (MERCEDES)

Just bought one of these. I have an E350 and want a recording plus a better backup camera. The auto dimming mirrors and windows are tough to see out of at night. Wondering if I should run it out of the trunk 12V charger. I don't want wires hanging anywhere. You ran it to the rear seat one. I have 3 12V charger ports. Trunk, rear seat and center console. What do you suggest? I might buy more than an 11ft includes for a power adapter. The rear view camera just needs to be routed. I'm not hooking it to my reversing light. I'm not doing any of this to a decently newer vehicle in almost mint condition. (2014) I'm just going to run the cable in the door creases and to the back window for rear view and as minimal as possible for the power cable. Maybe the same exact route to the 60/40 rear folding seats into the trunk. (Option)
