If I leave the light setting on the left in Auto will it automatically change the icon on the dash from parking light to headlights depending on the light?

If the A/C light in the bottom right corner is illuminated, is the A/C on? Every time I start the car it’s on, even if it’s 50 degrees outside and I have the temp setting to say, 70. How do I get it to not automatically turn on? Thanks!

I just got a 2024 Outback XT Limited (2024). I traded in my 2020 (same model). The wireless Apple CarPlay I thought would be a good upgrade however after less than 500 miles, I have had several issues with connectivity. The car will sometimes connect and sometimes not. When it doesn't I discovered that my phone connection is turned to the off position so I have to turn on the connection then connect then activate bluetooth. So it seems that the car will sometimes decide to turn off all the phone settings for no reason and unrequested.

I have a 2019 Cx-5 and cant seem to turn in on, i even tapped setting, vehicle, lighting and looked for high beam control but its not there, does it mean my car does not have it?

High beam assist kinda sucks it turns on and blinds other drivers randomly when it’s not needed or turns off once you already blinded the other driver.

I have a 2023 CX5 base model and it seems to have high beam assist . The same icons show up on the instrument panel when I activate it as you demonstrate in the video.
