Remember the dwelling back in the 80s changed a bit since then. Credit to whom ever carried out the resurrection into a stunning property.

Perfect example of why estate agents haven't got a clue what they are talking about nor do they have a clue about the quality of the fittings in a home , for 4.5 million , no thanks, there isn't one thing in that home that commands the asking price other than the land , bathrooms , cheap rubbish , radiators , cheap white standard radiators , not a hint of any quality in any of the rooms , looks like it was fitted out in the 80s and never been touched since, let me educate you , vileroy & boch make hi end bathroom products, so also do people like Hans Grohe or Grohe, most hotels abroad have at least grohe in them , this home has literally nothing in it of value , not a thing , even the kitchen tiles are straight out of the 90s ...the whole house needs a total refit to command anywhere near 4.5 million, it's an old dump inside

Why are folk incapable of using furniture/furnishings that are in period? This building doesn't know whether it's coming or going.

It was built for a girl friend by John Corbett. By 1891, John was 74 years old. He had married an Irish girl [brought up in France] as long ago as 1856. After marriage, they lived successively in two properties in Bromsgrove. They had been married and had six children by the time the Chateau was built. A marital dispute then broke up the relationship , and Mrs. Corbett was banished to a property on the coast of mid-Wales. By 1884, he had already lived apart from her for several years, and in that year, he legally separated from her. She was banned from living within 40 miles of Droitwich, on pain of losing an annuity. John was an upright Anglican, and a generous philanthropist to the area, and the local MP for many years. He would have been appalled at any notion of having a 'girlfriend'.!!

Nothing was really shown of this property !!!!! If it’s worth a look it’s worth showing a full video ,so as to get a better understanding if it’s worth a look as a builder (retired ) this was a disappointing presentation

As an American who has formerly resided in europe, who being raised on the opposite end of the transatlantic accent rainbow 😆 has done a good bit of stammering around lower UK, west of London... are familiar with some if the English countryside and some of the stunning grottos it produces. I love a tudor that never lets you forget that it's a tudor - all the exposed interior timbers are what just sets the tone for - "you're home" This has to be one of the most quintessential, picturesque countryside estates I've seen... absolutely stunning, I just don't see any water features that completes the picture, LOL That said, absolutely gorgeous property!!! I hope it sells quick for you!

A gorgeous house

At 4.5 million, one would nowadays expect a Pool and leisure/Gym complex - of course it could be added, planning assumed - but many people wouldn't want the trouble of getting onee built. Apart from that - stunning property and grounds.

you will need a house like this to drive a range rover around without paying a mortgage for insurance. lol, least you will still be able to use it
