Your sheltie looks just like my sheltie. He passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020 at the age of 12 1/2. A week earlier I gave him his last bath.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I enjoyed every one of your videos on this dog. Some are still on my favorites. He looked like and reminded me of a sheltie on my weekly mowing route named Benji who was owned by one of my customers. Ironically he was put down in 2007 .

My Sheltie passed away over a year ago (we had him for over 16 years) and this beautiful dog reminds me very much of him! Thanks for posting your videos, they made my day brighter. By the way I didn't see it anywhere, what's his name?

I had a customer in my mowing business who had one of these dogs, he became my best friend for the next 8 years. I still think of that dog now 8 years later after his passing, and this dog in this video looks exactly like him. This video is now 6 years old, do you still have him, and can you do another one on him and longer?

Shelties are the best breed!! I've owned 6 throughout my life. I always won at obedience trials because they are so darn smart!!

This dog was SUPER high strung, high energy. At the time I lived in an apartment and this thing would just run from one end to the other all day. No matter what, she just couldn't get the energy out of her. In the end we gave her to a family that lived on a farm and even then all she did was just run and run and run. I don't know if it's the breed or this particular dog but an apartment was definitely not the place for her. I didn't know about crate training at the time so when we both had to leave for work we would gate her in the small kitchen and she tore up the cabinets (chewed the edges off all of them) and would rip apart anything that she could even slightly get a hold of. She was hard to train also. Never got her potty trained. She would chew on anything and everything no matter how many toys we gave to her. Very hard to keep up with grooming - needs to be brushed every day or her hair would get dreadlocks. Very friendly, good with kids and strangers and other pets.

I'm overdosing on Sheltie videos, pics and rescue centres after losing a little (what we believed to be) sheltie collie cross breed after rescuing her and having 16 and a half happy years. The void she left is immense and I'm sure there was sheltie in her somewhere with her looks and how very clever she was although she was obviously diluted in breed. She is irreplaceable, the little girl in my profile picture but we will rescue another dog to give him or her the loving home she had for all her life. Hopefully sooner than later and with the same nature hopefully.
