Wish you were here! Really! But if you can't, we'll share visions of our travels with you, so you can virtually Travel With Us. Movies and slideshows of some of the places we've traveled to over the years. There is also some old stuff preserved here for our next generation of viewers.
Alaska 2024 (part 4)
Days 8-13 of our Alaska vacation. We take a train 11 hours from Whittier to the Denali Princess Lodge. We did a tour many miles into Denali National Park and Preserve. We then coach down to the Mt. McKinley Princess Lodge. We took a quick tour up to the little town of Talkeetna, where for the past 20 years or so the mayor of the town has been a cat. You can see him in the dog sled near the stairs inside Nagley’s Store. Finally, we leave from Anchorage, Alaska.

Carnival Celebration 2023

Come travel with us! This time we cruise on the Carnival Celebration in May 2023. We spent a day/evening in Fort Lauderdale, then left Miami, FL for 7 days in the Caribbean, with stops in; Amber Cove, Dominican Republic; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Sint Maarten. Our visit to Spain in 2022. It was summer, hot, no air conditioning, and fiesta week in Murla, Spain. Lots of fun, day and night. Fiestas in Spain are a mix of traditional and religious activities. OMG, I'm so happy this exists ... and that I've found it! I last heard the S&J Duo around this time at the Wobbly Barn in Killington, VT, on a trip up there with a girlfriend. But during the winters of 1990-91, and 91-92, I and bunch of the rest of the employees of the Killington ski resort's Children's Center (basically a per diem day care facility for 3-6 y.o.'s, with a little bit of ski instruction thrown in) would go to the Wobbly Barn up to 3x/week to watch them during Happy Hour. I've been singing their bawdy lyrics to classic songs ever since. BTW, the girlfriend? She "didn't get it." (Actually did her best to be insulting and demeaning about my enjoyment of the show.) We'd dated for 4-5 months, but that was it, and she could tell by my silence during the drive home that we were done: I dropped her off at her apartment on Bowery Street in Chinatown and never saw her again.

I can see the seaweed problem that people are mentioning @ 3:04 . Some people are saying that it smells and somewhat ruins the experience. What was your guys experience with it ?
Seemed like each day was different. Water sometimes like that, other times just small collections of seaweed. As for the beach, it gets raked and cleaned overnight. That clip is when we first arrived, late afternoon. At the 11:50 mark, you'll see the water is cleaner, later that week.
