He's still nowhere near as good as Charles Woodson was as a CB/WR/KR/PR combo. Woodson got TDs all 4 ways, and QB sacks, AND forced fumble recovered TDs. Thats why he got the Heismann trophy over Moss, Leaf, and Manning. Travis Hunter is great but Ashton Jeanty is a FAR better football player

I just want to push back on this Travis Hunter to the patriots thought process. If his role on the team would be as CB2 beside Christian Gonzalez wouldn't Will Johnson make more sense to slot there? Will Johnson is my CB1 and projects better in the Patriots defensive system. The Patriots play a bunch of man coverage, and I think Johnson would be better suited for the role. Hes bigger and would hold up better in Man against those bigger receivers. I like Hunter a lot and hes my CB2, but I think he would flourish more in a Zone scheme where his natural athleticism and high football IQ would allow him more playmaking. I think a team like the Cardinals or Giants make sense for him. I hear often "He can play in some offensive sets and contribute that way" But I don't know if hes going to offer any more then Douglas in that regard? And if we want to go down that road again we can always slot Marcus Jones in the role as well. I do think it makes sense to grab a great cover CB. We just saw how important it is to have multiple CBs that can cover. Marcus Jones got lit up against Garrett Wilson all game long. But I think when we actually look at everything thoroughly, it makes less and less sense to me. Just to make things clear I don't think I'd go CB route in the top three. My first choice would be trade back. My second choice would be Tet McMillan. If those two options are off the table things get cloudy.
