Because so many tourists came here and everybody going to Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Taksim, Eminönü etc. but nobody notice real historical beauty around them. They just visit these places and go back their countries. They are missing huge things. Congratulations to you. You are real jewel hunter. :D

I am very interested in other muslim's opinion of my marijuana. I am a muslim, and took shahada about 2 years ago. I don't consume marijuana currently due to my job requirements, however, i never used it outside of a medicinal use. I have a lot of chronic pain. And when i took shahada, i did tell the imam about my use amd why i do it. He gave me a fair answer, stating that it can be seen as khamr and he personally would not recommend that i comtinue to use it, but instead to pray and ask allah to heal me, but he also did not judge me and understood why i consumed it. It was funny, though, because the other imam said that now that i'm muslim, allah will heal me, and i don't think he was wrong. I had extreme lower back pain, that on a good day. The pain was barely tolerable, and on a bad day, it legitimately made me contemplate suicide. Years prior, a roommate of mine offered me some of his stash, and he joked that he would "be my spirit guide." And we smoked a joint and i did have a lot of pain relief and had a good night's sleep for the first time in almost 10 years. So that is when i began using it medicinally to help with the pain, and help me sleep. I started being able to do more, i was a much nicer and patient person, and even started performing massively better at work, which ended up getting me a promotion at one point. Fast forward to about a year ago, i was having self doubt, but was praying very hard while imbibing, which i guess technically should have invalidated my prayer (i didn't know that at the time) but my back clicked, and literally 15 years of excruciating pain evaporated. Everytging below my waist began to tingle and feel very hot. I began sweating, but my entire body completely relaxed, i began to cry because i felt like Allah truly did heal me, but i also feel like he did it through marijuana. I ended up realizing i had a dislocated vertebrae that was causing my nerves to be pinched. The warmth and relaxation i felt was very similar like when your foot falls asleep and begins to wake back up. I continued to use it because i still struggled with sleep (i've gone to psychiatrosts and i am clinically diagnosed with severe depression, severe anxiety, and severe PTSD. I do have recurring dreams sometimes where i wake up screaming, and i still have them even today.) I was given anti anxiety and anti depression meds, which did help a lot, but i felt like the side effects were worse than my condition, so i stopped taking them. But i noticed when i used marijuana, i stopped havimg the bad dreams, and my depression and anxiety were a lot more manageable. Because i am becoming a pharmacist tech, i stopped because i have to pass a federal drug test, but i have noticed my depression amd anxiety are returning. And i try to pray. And i try to be a good muslim, but i get filled with so much despair sometimes that i feel like i am disconnected from Allah, and at times makes me question whether i am actually muslim or not, but while i was imbibing, i didn't really have these doubts. What are your opinions on my situation? I truly did use marijuana as medicine and not just happy fun time. I never imbibed when there was work to be done as it does make me very lazy. Typically, i would imbibe at night, a few hours before going to bed.

You have no right to judge that is Allah's domian. But a brother should advise. Muslims usually drop it because the ibadah makes you want it less.

The issue is on love. Do you love him (pbuh)? If yes, why do you forbid celebrating it? You still celebrate your country celebration, don’t you? Why does when it come to the Prophet you suddenly hate that? Unless the bid’a or innovation is a clear-cut, non-interpretative concept, then you can say confidently that it is not allowed to celebrate the love for the Prophet. If it is not, these protestant sunnis are to blame to forbid people to express the love for the Prophet (pbuh) and these protestants are keep inviting people to their group (which they claim as the only to be saved, and they still arguing who are really to be saved among them) while excommunicate the rest of Muslims.
