How do you remove the plastic arm that goes to the mould. Mine broke but I've a couple of spares but can't get the thing off.
Kuch to bolo samaj nahi aa raha
This video needs audio. Is the Select turned on or off for those various functions? The hand is in the way so half the functions are not visible. In any case based on this video from what I could ascertain, my Select will not connect.
Sir namasthe. I am suffering from understanding problem at crowd places, noicee places, in the bus, motor cycle etc. What type of roger can help to me ?
Can you tell me why my hearing aids Marvel 50-R can't connect to roger Select?

How about TALKING SAY what you are doing and can the music which adds nothing helpful
Which button is which? I only have two buttons and dont know what they are for.
SAY SOMETHING can't see what you are doing your hands in the way
Does this connect to the Bluetooth in hearing aid or do you have a to have a reviver ?
whats the name of these Adapter you are using inbetween Roger Select and the headphone?
Hello, is there a way to listen to music after pairing roger pen with bluetooth? It only lets me talk, not hear anything.
The audio via bluetooth is for calls only, the media cable supplied with the Pen will allow audio from calls, music, video, any audio from your mobile phone or other device with a 3.5mm audio output. The cable is short, with 3.5mm at one end and micro usb at the other end (to plug into the bottom of the Pen). Frankly you're better anyway using the media cable than faffing about with Bluetooth on the Pen, just plug in and go, no dramas. If you have a newer phone with no headset jack you will need to use an adapter (typically supplied with the phone).
Useless link and site.
How do youj turn the mic off?
Very helpful thank you!
Hello does the phonak audeo b 312 need a roger x reciever to conect with roger pen,or how do inconect phonak audeo b 312 to roher pen?
Helo Eliakim, you can use Roger X 03 band with a ComPilot II, no telecoil for Roger Neckloop and no DAI option, so your option is ComPilot II with a Roger X plugged into the bottom. Regards, Paul
@@HABHearing thank you i didnt expect your reply thats so kind😌😌😌🥲🥲,if so then i should take a roger audeo b 13 insterd it has direct conection btn roger x reciever hearing aid and pen right?
@@eliakimsando2919 Thats right, either a ComPilot and Roger X 03 and, or a Roger X 03 band and AS18 DAI shoe for each hearing aid, or a Roger 18 integrated receiver for each hearing aid. If the Audeo B13 has a telecoil (I think it has) then you can also use a Roger Neckloop. Regards, Paul
Thanks for this video!
Does Roger X or anyother Reciciver is compatible with Cochlear Co. CP 802 if yes does Bluetooth Roger Pen compatible?
Hi! I have Naida Q70UPs with integrated receivers, a Roger Pen, and 2 Clip-on mics. I would like to unpair the Pen (the primary mic), and make one of the Clip-ons the primary. How can I do this?? Thanks! :)
Hi, if the Pen is the primary transmitter then you need to delete all the pairings on the Pen, then choose a Clip-on Mic as the primary to pair to the receivers and the other transmitters. Although.... I can't think of a good reason to do that if you have a Pen and 2x Clip-on Mics. If the Pen isn't present and / or switched on then the first Clip-on Mic that you switch on will act as a primary anyway. The Pen will act in lapel mode only if a secondary transmitter ie exhibit the same behaviour as a Clip-on Mic.
@@fmhearingsystems Does the Pen work with only Bluetooth? or does it work with Roger too?

Can you pair Roger select with Roger pen, too?
Yes you can pair a Pen to a Select and pair a Select to a Pen....
@@PaulMinikin I tried but got a red light indicators when I paired the two devices. What does the red light mean?
@@djstacey92 Something not quite right there. Delete all pairings on all devices, then reset all devices. Switch everything off then on. Then, re-pair....
Might be you need to upgrade the firmware. Do that first.

I have the Phonak Marvel 13T and i have problems with calling. I hear the person who i am calling very good, but they can not hear me good. I sound far away and sound like i am in the bathroom. So they have adviced me to buy the roger select to use it for phone calling. This remains not possible with Marvel hearing aids, because these devices have a built-in bluetooth receiver. Is this true? You can use the roger select only directly with the marvels for the mic and meetings.... But when you want to use the mic for better callings it is not possible because you can not set it to phone i wil conflict with the marvels:( Please help me improve the calling with the marvels i need it for work.
Hello Fatih, you should not need to buy the Select for this purpose, the person you are calling should be able to hear you via your hearing aid microphones relaying to your mobile phone. I think it's worth looking again at this with your hearing professional. Using Roger with Marvel is really good but for the purposes of mobile phone calls I would not expect you to need to use Roger.
Hi, when you have this connected to a tv are other people able to here the sound at the same time ?
Hi Mick, depends on how you are outputting the sound from the TV. If you're using the headset jack its a 50/50 whether it will mute the TV speakers. If you take the audio out the back of the TV or via a set top box you should not have that problem. The speakers will output to the room and you will hear via Roger. Regards, Paul
@Paul Minikin and @David Kilner. Does the Roger Pen work well in conference mode e.g. middle of a boardroom meeting table or on speaker lectern for a conference? Does the Select have any advantages over the Pen in these situations e.g clearer or better sensitivity or distance it can project? Conversely in a very noisy restaurant/bar setting over a group dinner, would the Pen work better than the Select? Can Pen work by simply pointing it handheld to the relevant speaker? I can imagine the conversation switching from person to person, and I worry about the Select just picking up lots of noise when placed on the table and also being prone on the table top to having food or drink dropped on it?
Hi JP, neither the Pen nor the Select would be particularly good on a big conference table, they are both best for smaller groups and need to be nearer to the person you need to hear, particularly when the acoustics become more challenging. Both would be fine on a lectern as they are close to the speaker and can broadcast to your receiver(s) for a good distance. Both are good in a big room, and both are affected if things get in the way (like bodies / objects etc). The Pen is better when hand held and on the move, the Select is better if sat on a flat surface like a smaller table in a conference mode. For larger tables in a meeting type scenario you'd be better with a Roger Table Mic. Regards, Paul
@@PaulMinikin Thanks greatly for your advice. The cost is prohibitive in Australia and no rebates so I'm looking for the best all rounder. I will need to occasionally use for all those situations ie on table in meeting, lectern and in restaurant. Previously thinking Select but leaning now to Pen to follow conversation in restaurant. Can the Pen at least assist in omnidirectional mode in a larger table meeting even if not as good as table mic?
@@JPLKMoz Hi JP, the Pen is really good if hand held but it isnt great flat on a table, Select is better on a table. If the table has 8 or more round it (not the number of people but the distance from mouth to transmitter is the thing) then the Pen (and Select too) starts to struggle because of the distance from mouth to Pen. It's all about understanding how the technology works and making the most of where it is good, and working round it's limitations. A magic wand it is not, but Roger is great technology if used at its best. When we hear of negative comments about Roger it tends to be because the user has not quite grasped what the technology is capable of, what it can't do, and not worked out the ways to make the best use of the technology. If you want a Pen to work flat on a conference table with 20 people sat round it just won't cut the mustard. Pen is best thought of as for noise and in small groups, for that it is great. From your comments I'd lean towards Select to be honest, with Select in a restaurant you can place it on the table and let it do its thing, you can use both hands to eat your meal! Sat round a table of 4, maybe 6 it'll be fine, just don't spill your drink on it!
I have three Pens now and space them out on the conference table. Provided the room acoustics are reasonable, they work well, especially if the meeting is orderly and people aren't speaking all at once. The social distancing provisions of the coronavirus crisis are actually working against this however as people have to be spaced out. The closer they are, the better!
During the COVID-19 lockdown, I have been connecting my Pen directly to my laptop with the supplied cable. I find this works very well when participating in an on-line meeting eg via Zoom
Does the pen only stream the audio to your hearing aid? Do you still need am additional microphone, and if so, what do you use? I am trying to set up my computer as my new job has a lot of online phone calls.
@@lolwu7718 There is a short cable that you can plug into the headphone socket on a computer then into the Pen. The Pen then streams to your hearing aid. The same cable can be plugged into a mobile phone's earphone socket and the Pen so you can make and receive calls. If you don't have the right Phonak hearing aid, you will need a connecting device called a MyLink which Phonak provide. The Pen can also connect to the Digital Audio out socket on a TV via a special dock. This provides good quality sound. I understand the Phonak can 'listen' to up to ten Roger Pens at a time. I have three which I use in meetings or with groups of people.
The Pen works best in a noisy environment of the other party wears it around their neck. I have two and find it works well in restaurants if I have two companions. Wish I could afford a third to help when out with my wife and another couple!
look into the Phonak PartnerMic, they are about $200 online. I use one for my spouse so I can hear her while driving.

When the roger select is hooked up to the tv via optical cable, do you get stereo through the hearing aids?
How many rupes in pakistan
Really brilliant aimed at Hearing impaired people and NO SUBTITLES shows you care
Erm......there are no subtitles because there is no speaking.....Of course we care! The video is a Phonak corporate video purposefully with no speaking and with descriptions in words commenting on the different actions. Hope that clarifies!
Hearing impaired here....nobody was speaking. It's a demo. Everything is there. Stop trying to find a problem when there isn't one.
Thanks for the review. Have you compared the new Roger select iN with the Roger pen iN and if so, does your comparison stand (or, has the iN processor in the new Pen improved enough that placing it on the table produces more or much more the previous experience of the Roger select?) Thanks for any thoughts!
Hi Liz, the performance of Pen and Pen IN are exactly the same and likewise Select to Select IN, our assessment of the two devices and how they compare are unchanged.... Regards, Paul

Hallo, do you know how to fix the sound delay of the Compilot II when using bluetooth?
Can any one please tell me. What is the current price of oticon spirit zest, and its specifications.
I don’t know the price of the hearing aid as we gets it free from the nhs
Thanks for the actual real captions and not the automatic captions.
No problem Jim, the automatic captions can be a little inaccurate!
In my experience, the Select is useless where there is background noise (eg cafe/restaurant). But in an office environment, with less background noise, it works quite well.
We have found the opposite to that, bearing in mind you need to be reasonably close to the Select for it to work ie understanding how it works best and using to best advantage. If the speaker is too far away from the Select and the background noise is too prevalent in comparison, the background noise is going to wash over what you need to hear. The answer is if the background noise is too prevalent thats a cue for the speaker to be closer to the Select so it can detect the speech in the noise and enhance it at the expense of the noise. Regards, Paul
