What it's really like working together as a MARRIED COUPLE!
Thanks. New find for me. Great!
You're welcome!
you yack on for over a minute before you say let's get into it. Spare me the first minute of garbage about your struggles and start with the "lets get into it"
I do. Because it’s my channel. That’s the whole point 😂
He’s outlining the issue and the context before getting to the solution. Jesus - what is it these days with kids and their goldfish-like attention spans????!!!! Just say “thanks” and move on or make your own contribution.

I’m assuming you were using the mic to film this video?
No I’m using a boomed Deity S-Mic2S in this video.
If you’re wondering why the audio was so terrible in the first place, here’s the explanation: - Untreated small office room with reflective surfaces (zero soft furnishing except 3 humans!) - Using lavalier microphones to record the audio. This is not the best choice for a podcast, especially in the conditions we were in. However because we were travelling I didn’t have the capacity to carry two podcast microphones, so I went with what I had! - The two subjects were sitting were close together. Hence there was a lot of mic spill - the microphones were picking up both voices because they were sat so lose (and from the reflections in the room) I knew in the back of my mind that I could clean up the sound using Auphonic. However in hindsight I would definitely look for an alternative mic solution and not be so lazy!
U r indian
I didn’t switch. And why use the A7IV for long form video? That’s what the FX cameras are from. Though I used my A7IV for hours also in the UK. I also used it in 35 degree humid heat in south west Japan with no overheat warning. Good luck with Panasonic but I think it’s nuts changing a camera body when lenses are far more important.
The FX3 if we stay in full frame is double the price, and still has some things missing like prores422 wich is amazing to work with...
@@Just-Nicoit has ProRes raw and to be honest I prefer imagine off the FX3 sensor. But the main point is lenses and just don’t think L mount competes yet. And it just seems strange to change a whole system and lose all that money. Even more where the A74 is a more photo centred camera anyway.
@@neilrocks25 prores RAW is external you need extra monitor for that, with that the s5iix also has it. And for the image to me the s5iix looks better than the fx3. Actually I tried to watch the creator which is shot with the fx3 and didn't really liked how it looks I stopped the movie after 10 minutes. Alien from the 90s looks far better
@@Just-Nico I know a ninja v. The reds look so bad on S5ii, they just do not look natural. The S5ii is a great camera but it’s just not there yet and it does not have the lenses yet. The auto focus isn’t there yet either. Give it 2 more gen and sort out the reds and then we are talking. Hopefully it will get a better range of lenses. Alien is from the 70’s and film, also recorded in anamorphic. Not 90’s at all. And if you can’t watch a movie because of the camera it’s shot on then how can anyone take you seriously?
@@neilrocks25 l mount has enough lenses right now and it can be easily adapted to pl and EF and also the autofocus works more than enough with EF lenses. And with the autofocus I've seen the s5ii compared to the a7iv and by surprise the autofocus on the s5ii worked actually better than the a7iv. Now with alien there are several movies yes starting from 79 but I was referring to one from the 90s like alien 3 which I didn't specify. And with the creator is not that I didn't watch it because of the camera but because I just simply didn't like how the image looks I don't care about what camera was used. I don't have nothing against Sony 😄
Bags on the luxrul are the proof that Cheap doesn't mean not beautiful
Hey have you tried the video for the new Lumix S5IIx? If so, any overheating issues?
Hi. I only use it for video. The camera has a fan built in. No overheating. I’ve recorded a 3 hour podcast with zero issues.
@@anishaandsunjay thank you. I’m looking for a camera for my son and through so many RUclips videos and written reviews, I’m very strongly inclined to go with the LUMIX S5IIx. The blackout version is just the icing on the cake.
Lucky son! It’s a fantastic video camera and yes the black finish is very nice
Terrible delay
So so cool 😎

Wish you were there!

I appreciate this discussion so much! After several months of trying to build my business account on Instagram, I quickly lost heart with how little progress II made since I began earlier this year. I've arrived to the same conclusion as you guys have. This whole discussion just confirmed I made the right investment by starting a RUclips channel as opposed to trying to make Instagram work. Thank you so much for this wonderfully insightful video! I can't wait to follow for more.

It is easy to have a podcast. I did it for four years. It is very easy just start.
Just start
It is so easy😊
In a conversation this is the best way to hold someone’s attention
💯
Same here bud, good video!
Cheers! Hope you’re enjoying life with the Lumix!
So setting it to HIGH will allow unlimited recoding right?
You are still limited with regard to battery life and storage. But yes the camera won’t stop recording if both of those are in check
Let’s go!!
💥
proud user of Lumix cameras since 2008. Never looked back.
I can see why!
Nice move. I've had the S5iiX for a while and love it and have zero concerns about it overheating. For the record, a few years ago I had the GH5 and S1H powered and both running for 35 hours non stop outside, both night and day, sometimes in the rain, in the summer whilst hot-swapping cards and they performed flawlessly. I was filming a record attempt for Guinness World Records. A few years prior to that, I did the same over 108 hours using the GH4 and Sony PMW EX1. No problems even when the Sony was soaked during a storm. Lumix cameras are amazing and you are going to love the S5iiX 💪👍
Great insights thanks for sharing. Yes I’m loving my experience with them so far. SSD recording has been the biggest game changer in my workflow 🙌🏾
@@anishaandsunjayMe too. That plus a dummy battery means the camera will do a whole wedding without needing to change anything 👍
Q1: Does it overheat? Q2: Do i have the option to select between 8bit or is it permanently locked to 10bit
It has a fan so it’s not supposed to overheat. No signs so far in my usage. You can choose whichever bit rate you wish. 10 or 8 even 16 bit raw with an external recorder!
The A7IV is a Hybrid camera and you stated you knew its limitations. Maybe the FX line is more appropriate for your needs and you could still use your glass.
I did consider it. However the price of two FX3’s was something that wasn’t in the budget. Features such as SSD recording and 6K open gate were a no brainer for my particular workflow - and I saved money in the process 💰
I also Just recently got an S5IIX and the same kit with the kit lens and the 50 mil . nice kit and very great quality. I kept my a7iv for event photos. Subbed to support a fellow S5IIX Newbie
Sweet! I have been impressed with it. I would have loved to keep one of my A7IV's for the same reason but couldn't afford to right now. Thanks for the sub! (Returned the favour, looking forward to your content!)
@@anishaandsunjay I understand that totally. It's not cheap and I may be selling one of my other cameras . I would really like to get the sigma 24-70 f2.8 mark ii for L mount .
@@anishaandsunjay thanks for the sub
@@TwoTimesRmedia I’m hoping to rent this lens for a job later this year 🙌🏾💥
Or you can use Iriun Webcam Assuming apps like that even exist on iPhone for free
Hahahhaa so cool! 👍🏼
Thanks!!
I have also changed my camera from a7iii to S1H.. but for other reasons. I don’t understand these overheating complaints. I live in India. I have been shooting with a7iii since 2018 in scorching heat. For 6 years I have never experienced overheating issue while shooting. I have shot in 40-50 degree C during every Indian summer and my camera didn’t die.
The A7iii shoots 8 bit 4:2:0 4k 24p and 4k 30p with a crop. The A7IV shoots in 10 bit 4:2:2 oversampled from 7k upto 4k 30p and 4k 60p with an APSC crop. A lot more heat generated by the processors for the small body to radiate the heat away.
Great insights! Are you shooting in 4K? This only happened when I switched to 4K ALL-I codec. I want to record in the highest quality and unfortunately the Sony just wouldn’t allow it unless I rigged up a fan to it
Sir, you could use some sleep. Really. Great video by the way. Sony's heating issue is a show stopper and it is really a shame they could not address it all these years. So long.
Thanks. Yes they clearly have the tech as the FX cameras don’t have this issue. Hopefully it trickles down to the Alpha series
🤣🤣🤣
I just stumbled upon your channel (YT algorithm I guess), and I loved the content and your voice clarity!! I liked and subscribed.
Thank you so much I appreciate the comments ✌🏾
If at first you don't succeed... 🙂

I've been dithering between three different set-ups because my original plan kind of blossomed into other ideas. I've spent a week researching gear, that with the original idea, I'd use once in a blue moon. Your suggestion to go back to basics and start with my phone hit home. I don't need bells and whistles yet, I just need to test the waters to see if anyone enjoys what I like creating - and if there's nobody out there, I'm having fun anyway with no gear stress. I have ordered a lav mic as that does seem like it would suit my style and improve on an 8 year old phone's speakers. (Edit : I think I might have meant microphone!) Thank you for your clarity and encouragement :)
Appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. I know how you feel. I’ve been stuck in analysis paralysis over gear too many times. Even in creating these videos, I’ve super simplified my workflow. As long as your having fun (and I’m having way more fun now actually creating the content) the rest will take care of itself ✌🏾
Needed this. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
this is a pretty cool feature! I use something similar, as you can hit the checkmark in the project manager to allow multiple projects to be available in a session. And then I use a drop down to switch between projects quickly. I use that a lot to switch between the project and my template file, that has different fusion compositions on different tabs. I grab the template do the adjustments, render them out and use the output in my project.
Yes it’s saved me a ton of time! Do you mean you use dynamic project switching? I love that feature too
@anishaandsunjay yes. This is the thing that makes template projects viable to me. Otherwise it would be too much hassle. It is a great feature.
This will save us so much time 🎉
Let me know if use it!!
Love it bro!
Feeling inspired!
We all been there 😂 It’s the best way forward 😎
