I loved this younger rendition of the Toymaker, as opposed to the original who was colder. I think he'll be a constant shapeshifter to surprise the doctor.

I love a villian who is clearly so dangerous that he doesn't even have to talk or threaten anyone but his sheer presence alone is truly terrifying. He's not touching you, or making any gestures of violence and yet the fact he can alter the very fabric of reality around you with mere thought, turning people to bouncy-ball, instant teleportation and turning bullets to petals shows he could instantly end every single one of them with just a thought. The fact he demonstrates the power of a god and simply having fun knowing what he could do if he truly wanted to shows how terrifying he really can be. I'd argue the Toymaker is even more terrifying than a Dalek since if he wanted to he'd be untouchable even to them. And it's no wonder you see the fear in the Doctor's eyes with how he could be totally unpredictable.

What the Toymaker does everyday:

Much much worse than the actual 2D rendition in AM2R, literally disney tier this one. The other nails it.

This makes me think of Jobu Tupaki from everything everywhere all at once because of the wackiness with god like powers

It’s scenes like this that really convey why Samus is my favourite character of all time. She’s badass and powerful as all hell, but she’s still caring, loving, compassionate, and protective of the innocent and those she loves. She will do anything to ensure that nobody suffers the same fate and pain she had. Samus Aran is my god damn superhero!

I find it interesting that this cutscene plays out the same way as the "Fusion Mode" cutscene in AM2R; The frog hops around, an X appears, it tries to hop away, the X infects it, and it becomes a red version of the frog...

The part where the two guards get turned to balls is just very strange, like are they alive or not because the doctor says they’re dead, but then again a face screams in one of the balls
