I just want to process all the drums and cymbals individually. It doesn't have to be but, I like this style. That normal way is good as well. When I want drums to be more organic, I would process the drums in the normal way.

@@YuyaMiyazaki But, in the Invasion or GGd, can i get more than 16 channels to output the DAW?? Because i can´t. i use ableton and the max output is 16 stereo channels

I haven't used HS8 and can't talk about it a lot. But I wouldn't choose HS8 because HS5 produces great enough low-end for me. I don't need low-end more.

I've got the Hs5 with the sub. Killer setup. Bass frequencies no problem. I consider the hs5 better for near field work that the larger models.

OH, Room, Room B, SLR are maxed out. If you want to know ambient sound of kick and snare, go check out the kick and snare videos. I didn't touch the master output because I separated all the tracks. Thanks.

Great measurements won't make me a great mixer. What you should know is how you listen to music with these poor measured speakers and not how they're measured.

@@YuyaMiyazaki mixing or analyzing anything depends on your experience and formation, but also on your instruments. If your gear tells that a given frequency is high, and you trust it but is an artifact of your amp-monitor-dac, then you will correct a false data. At some level you can know and predict the behavior of your stuff and counteract its artifacts but is not the better option

@@miguelalonsoperez5609 Then, your best option is gonna be nothingness. Because nothingness doesn't have any artifacts.

@@YuyaMiyazaki agree, no speaker is perfectly flat but when you listen to something which keep within 2 dB variation between 100 and 4000 Hz is an experience you never forget.

I didn't know either that Black Album thing until I watched Rick Beato's video or listened to Devin Townsend Podcast🤣. But what Glenn makes great is he still keeps avoiding samples to make records organic or sounding like human. Personally, I don't really like his mixes. But I respect his attitude to music. That's why I agree with him even though I use tons of samples.

Thanks for your constructive comment! Your comment reminds me of Nashville musicians in a good way. We need a pianist if the song has to have real piano sound even though we have great piano libraries. I'm not saying every drum should be programmed. I respect musicianship but it doesn't necessarily mean they still have to play real drums. What I'm saying is if the song has to be tight (like modern metal), why don't they play E-kit to begin with? I respect musicians who understand what you need in their song.

Big mainstream channels can get tiring sometimes. It feels like some of them are more concerned with generating millions of views and promoting paid products than educating.
