Commander, Charlie Troop, 3/6 Cav '89-'92, Sqd Maintenance Officer, A Troop, 7/17th Cav, '83-'88
I was there in 94/95, 194th maintence BN 3/501. fielded the 1st Apache Bn. AVIM.
Did any one know commander Robert F Molinelli in Vietnam?
I was there 94-95. I was B Co 3/501st. I was a motor pool guy back then. I remember on Friday and Saturday nights we would leave our doors open in barracks and go back and forth between the rooms drinking with our buddies. I remember you had to do something really stupid to get in trouble there because your squad leader and platoon Sergeant were probably in on it too. The Katusa snack bar by the PX was good too.
HHC 2nd Battalion 58th Aviation Regiment (ATC) 6ACB 93 til 6th Cav left Ft. Hood.
I was there in 04-05 wish i stayed another year.
Wow, great video. I was 6 CAV flight ops NCOIC 93-95 before moving to 1CAV. Enjoyed those years in the Fighting Six and friends that were made that have lasted a lifetime!

Pardon me, sir. It seems you have served with US Force Korea in the past. I have started a RUclips page that might interest you. ruclips.net/channel/UCfeYGMgkk6fmNpv6ZV5Y0Iwabout
I remember camp eagle well. I was stationed here NOV 1996- NOV1997 and OCT1999- OCT 2000, At that time it was G Co 52nd AVN and 1/6th Cav. In 1996 I was actually in 2ID and attached at G Co in the EETF. and in 1999-2000 I was in G Co 52d AVN. Even tho we had to ride the bus to get to either camp long or all the way to Seoul to go Yongson. or Itaewon. I enjoyed my time here. At the time this video was made I was at Fort Hood. we had gotten back from the Gulf War in Saudi and Kuwait. Cobras were gone when I got to camp eagle and we had nothing but blackhawks and apaches then. Today. Camp Eagle is a ghost town. if you go to google earth.
I was with this unit from 1998-2003. We were stationed in Korea at that time. Best time of my military careers was with them. I loved all the aviator officers, warrants, and soldiers of this unit. That’s why I extended four times to remain with them.
55th Signal Troop Dec 80 to Jun 84 the best unit in my 23 years of Service.
A Trp 4/9 Scout July 78 - Feb 80

I was stationed there 2001 to 2002. What an experience it was. I'll never forget it.
MY dad was with the 6th cav during nam. he wore that patch everywhere rather small or large and even being a green beret with the 5th sog attached to the 6th he was a dark horse. he passed on 2005

there 89/90 was a great experience
Was stationed at Camp Long from '91-92. Eagle had the better Club :)
Eagles Nest haha. Man those were the days. I was stationed in Camp Eagle 2001 to 2002.
@@EDMTMLFilms I was at eagle twice. All we had was a small PX. Mr Kim and Mr Lee. a glass indoor pool. A gym with plastic for a floor which made no sense. the eagle nest club with a small slot machine section, and the DFAC. the small katusa snack bar, airfield and hangers and a motor pool in the back. 4 story barracks but whats funny is I enjoyed my times in korea. always going to yongsan and other camps through out korea.
Thanks for posting this... 55th Signal Troop '75-76...

Yes, I was on that training mission that night. I think he was 3 aircraft behind me when it happened.
I see LT Zimmerman here, I still remember the night he passed away.
I'm sure if I ran into you then Sir I'd remember. There was me, SFC Wright, SPC Neal & Salerno. Pretty much the 3-6 S-4 up until FEB 1996 when I left. I was also the Squadron Armorer for a good while.
David Bernett. (CW2) I was the 6th CAV Public Affairs Officer at the time and produced the video.
David, anymore footage of the 6th Cav Bde, Gilbert (Gonzo) Gonzales, CW2, Aviation Safety Officer, Retired.
That’s when the unit was like a family. When Mr. Jenkins and Peterson died we all were saddened by our brothers death and our bond was close. When I left the unit to go to 1/502nd. It wasn’t the same.
I worked in 3-6 S-4, and HHT Supply when this was filmed...who are you?
