Nostalgic, the short levels, the old gameplay style and one of the levels having modificated layouts from one of the levels of the original game all gave me huge vibes from the original release of Syzxchulun's World 9. You said that this is based on the original or one of the first versions of Mario Forever so was this made recently?, cause it looks like this is where the revival era of Mario Forever began.
