Why do the state save BEFORE the change? There are more advantages by doing the save AFTER the change. For example, the save request could be posted to be done at idle-time if done after the change. Further, because the save is done at idle-time, more processing can be done with the current state and the previous one to optimise the states so that only relevant changes to the states are reinstated during an undo or redo operation. For example, the difference between the two states can be obtained and used later to make only the relevant changes to the program data during a redo or undo. Saving the state BEFORE the change prevents save from being done at idle-time. Also, doing the save after the change does not require an 'isDirty' variable.

What I treasure trove your videos are! May I ask, how would you make the particles colors have a linear gradient during their movement? Start as white, then linear gradient from one light shade to a dark shade. I tried an if statement in the update method but that doesn't work... Anyway, cheers from Vancouver :)

A lot of the calculations become simpler when you use the full protocol of Offset, such as adding offsets, multiplying offsets by double, and even mapping between rectangular and polar using Offset.direction, Offset.distance and Offset.fromAngle.

If you have defined a function before and you are reusing it e.g the textcentered function, it would not hurt to have it defined in the current video or at least reference the video in which you defined the function previously to make it easier to find
