Total induce drag not only come from your wingtip vortices but also Aft lift (increase while you increases induce aoa) and vortices behind the trailing edge, all those 3 parts make your total induce drag.

Those FL ones aren't correct for part 121. The rules you're reading is for Part 91. In Part 121, the rules start above FL 250. It's Part 121.333

I don't see an ACS for instrument airplane instructor. Is that still going to be under the PTS?
We noticed that as well. Maybe it will be coming out soon but currently it doesn’t show as an ACS in that ACS List.
@@wifiCFIIt looks to me like the flight instructor instrument PTS has been updated to FAA-S-8081-9E and will take effect the same day as the new ACS.

You may want to reach out to your DPE to be sure. But, it will depend if your Checkride will be before or after 5/31/24.
It's simple, the heading should ALWAYS match the top of the OBS, regardless of flying TO or FROM. When flying TO and tracking a radial, then the radial you're tracking should be set at the bottom of the OBS. When flying FROM the station, the radial should be set at the top.
Except in LOC BC approaches. They employ reverse sensing and can be unintuitive and tricky to navigate for student pilots.

I fly a C172 Skyhawk, how do i find out if my airplane has a TCDS?
It does have a TCDS, you can google it in the FAA website.
so I’m here because i saw this video " "THEY GIVE PILOT LICENSE TO ANYONE THESE DAYS" where a gentleman was cleared to land but i believe he thought he was to to land and hold short, after landing he then asked for permission to cross the intersecting runway and the tower yelled at him to vacate the runway. The moral i guess is it’s a good thing to know is this a LAHS or a regular landing on airports with intersecting runways
