Disney's attention to sight lines is well-known. So why are the Swan and Dolphin sticking up and breaking that sight line in the World Showcase? I have NEVER understood why they let those buildngs be built there.

Depends on the destination. Rope drop ratatouille: canada. Literally anything else: mexico. Idk, clockwise is hard wired into my brain or something

Coco was actually originally planned to replace Grand Fiesta at Epcot, but Disney realized that they would lose too much revenue that the restaurant and shops in the Mexico pavilions by having it close down for 2-3 years to replace the ride. That’s why they’re doing it in California adventure.

We got to ride the Swan boats! There was a pair of wires along the bottom of the moat which the boat followed wirelessly. This was in 1974 or so mind you. The boats wound around the castle, hub, Tomorrowland and a bit of Adventureland...

This was very clear and sharp, but I didn't care for the 'fisheye' look.
