West Rembo is part of the EMBO barangays that were transferred from Makati to Taguig 2 years ago. Apparently, these EMBO barangays or once was the Enlisted Men's Bario, was part of Fort Bonifacio Military Reservation. Thus, the Supreme Court made the decision that these barangays are part of Taguig city.
