Hey, I just wanted to tell yall something. I've been seeing a lot of comments on how a girlfriend or boyfriend basically is what makes your life happy and meaningful and so forth. I just wanna say that a girlfriend or boyfriend is only a human and is not the end all be all. In fact, the main purpose of life itself is not having a girlfriend or boyfriend, its having God in your life and knowing Jesus as Lord and Savoir. Look im not saying you shouldn't pursue marriage or whatever, im saying a relationship with a person is not the main perpose of life and you can be perfectly happy even if you not with anyone. It represents so much about the lives of so many people, depressed, asocial or just introverted people who every day have to wear smth I call "a mask of normality". In any social interaction you're always smiling, pretending to be normal, rarely truly being yourself. Never telling anyone how you really feel, and what you really think, coz it would be too "unpopular" or "weird" - which is considered so bad in our society. So you're like SpongeBob here - with a painted normal grimace all over your head, which you can take off only when exiting the room of those people, and it feels so good to do it, to be yourself once again. That's why I love internet - no one knows or sees you - you can be yourself, have soul-to-soul conversations about what you really care about. And right now I care about what I just wrote - and I wouldn't talk about it to someone directly.
