Why is he running on the wrong side of the tench? This shot shows he could have a clear run if he ran the same route, but on the parallel side of the tench, thus avoiding the exact issue of having a soldier that’s charging into battle, run into him. 🧐😬🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

the soundtrack to this film was the only good thing about it. The film just rapes the book and its themes and characters. I suggest reading the book or listening to the audiobook with the soundtrack playing in the background

My boyfriend does not understand why this song is so important. I’ve been trying to get him to sit down and watch this movie for almost 4 years every time I bring up the song it’s usually when I can’t sleep or I’ve had a little bit too much to drink and I just want to fall asleep withthe stress of my heart gone and crying myself to sleep next to my boyfriend even though he’s oblivious to this song makes me feel a lot better

But after that her close friend betrayed on her and she left her group. I didn’t know why I helped her to be friend with her and tried to introduce her to all my friends. Then we joined the army , we helped each other a lot to pass the hard time. She said to me that she was lucky I saved her and be her friend,and I thought it’s the best decision I’ve ever had that I let her in my life, she helped me a lot and be my true friend. Even now we both graduated but we still talk everyday and we like many things in common , thanks to the friend who betrayed on her so she moved to my life, thanks myself that I made a decision to helping her through the hard time ❤

Was I ment to watch this film at this point in my life ? As painful as life can be sometimes there's more that we don't see and can be viewed from a distant place we have yet to visit with the knowledge that can only come from time lived with passion and wonder of what will tomorrow bring .

I remember seeing this movie in the cinema. I had actually arranged to meet up with my husband for a late night (comedy) movie but arrived in the city way too early and popped in to see an early evening showing of Cloud A. I came out so shaken I had to go home.... there was no way I could turn around and go to a comedy.. or any other movie! It really is an incredible piece of movie making!

I feel like bumping into those extras by accident makes the scene so much better than it would've if he'd managed to avoid them all. It gives it such a wonderful sense of realism. The first guy gets hit and stays on the ground. I've seen dozens of people make up reasons why he did, and all of them are plausible. Maybe he got shot right at that moment, or right before he was hit. Maybe he decided it was best to just stay there once he hit the ground, or maybe he was so shocked and terrified that he couldn't get back up. Then the second guy rolls over, gets up, finds his weapon and his helmet, and keeps on going. You see guys get shot right as they leave the trench, guys who get slammed almost directly with the artillery fire, and it's so chaotic that it makes you feel like it could actually have happened exactly that way. It's fucking brilliant, and I wouldn't change a single thing about it.

This soundtrack always brings me to tears. The movie and music seem to connect us all to something bigger. Which is a rare thing.

It was terribly underrated. I think because of the themes and beliefs it represents. Most people believe in that natural order of things. When something counters it. They either ignore or become angry. My heart rules my Head it can all be hogwash. I will hold on to a vision of a kind world. Let everything go and hold on.
