an old sn95 if you want an honest opinion. I picked up a 98 cobra for 7500 (which is cheap for what it is) but vest advice is not to go out and get a loan in highschool for these cars.

Hey man sorry I’m just seeing this, but the guy down below is right in terms of not getting at loan out right now unless you are blessed with parents that can do that for you or you’ve been saving up for a good down payment if not buying it outright but if I was to do this is high school I probably would have went and got s197 or a motorcycle. I was lucky enough to build my credit and have a good decent job that I could get this s650 at 25… it’s been cool but dammit insurance has been the biggest waste of money.

It’s loud but not stupid loud on start up. Now if you get the shorter crt can you’ll have the whole city looking at you I think this setup will suit your needs

So they fit kinda, the convertibles have a fitting issue due to the brace they need underneath to add structure due to the loss of it with not having a solid top. There’s a few vids on how to work around putting an exhaust on the convertible models

@@monochrome5.0 that’s what’s wrong with this new generation everyone wants to follow manufacturers guidelines. Oh you can now do 10k oil changes yeah no change oil every 3-4k miles and air filter every other oil change. Old school buddy don’t trust these manufacturers it’s all the same since back in the day

No you have to take it out 2 bolts and it’s out. 12:33 on the video is when I added a note about that 🤙🏽 get after and good luck… it’s pretty easy.

@@monochrome5.0another question, because I just so happen to be at 19k miles as well, almost 20k. Was your valve cover gasket still in good shape and reusable?

@aaronflores1262 yes I reused it and amd rode it for another 6k still no leaks even when I sold it at 25k miles

They were fine, someone online has the paper template to cut your rear end to fit the quad tips on a non active car. Other then that it fit pretty well. Borla states it doesn’t fit but that isn’t true it’s literally the same fit from 2015-17 and 2018-24 if you cut the rear valance I have a vid on it

Yup… it bolts the the main rear sets no the passenger like a lot of the exhaust on the market. I occasionally took the pegs off for the track and would through them on when taking a chick out.

The new system is for the car with active exhaust, mine isn’t active

The new corsa sounds good so if you don’t mind spending 2600-2800 I’d say go that route otherwise for 2k the borla is legit… the last 13k miles I’ve had it on haven’t gotten old

I was noticing that too not just with borla. I think the corsa extreme for 2024 is the only new updated system that sounds better than its original 18-23

Rewatch it, that was after measuring… I was already taking the cams back out to change shim size some more

I love it, it’s probably one of the highlights from this car that most owner start to like more and more

2018-23, I had to cut the rear bumper to fit the quad tips but if you would like to avoid cutting get any of the 2015-17 models
