I dont understand drivers who sit in the car and watching me to lift my luggage to the boost. You are a taxi driver and why not get out from the car and help the client. I always ask then could you please help me?
left with shit money after expenses
Uber pays based on race
Cheap drivers making the bussiness cheap
Only an a$$ can take only 40£ for 30 miles which is per mile lower than minimum driving incone
is 40 pound for 30 miles rubbish
I'm a black cabbie, it's not an entitlement thing, we're almost out numbered 10 to 1, just leave the work in central London to us, you guys can work zones 2 to whatever, every other car in town is a minicab im sure if you were driving a black cab you'd see it differently.
I'm not gonna lie, I understand where your coming from. but everyone has to make a living so leaving all the jobs in central to the black cab drivers is not a solution. Making a living is open to all, u just have to evolve with the times.
@ONTHEROADWITHHR like you said, everyone here is to make living
You would see also difference if you would be a passenger. How about to be competitive rather than call yourself "black cup"? Why should we pay 3 times more for the same trip? If Bolt app asks from Baker Street to St. Kings Cross St Pancras 14 quid, black cup asks 18-25 quid as of November 16. I would take Black cap if it is 15-16 quid instead but not 25quid.You kill your business.
Love the content HR just letting you know some of rating of customers you are taking is bad like really bad i don't take anything below 4.60 even if it's a rematch at an airport been burnt in the past taking low rating customers just talking from experiences. 👍
Thank you very much, for ur comments. Yeh i dont really pay attention to the rating maybe i should. Most of the time the customers are fine and they have a bad rating.
Glad to see you back on the vlogs HRVlogger, hope to see more in future
Black cabs think they own the roads always hating on uber drivers there outdated facts I seen channels where there always hating on uber drivers and even lying saying uber more expensive. TFL are JOKERS TOO about you can't take tips. Good upload.
Well done bro
Great insight into the shift.❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
You should always get out of the car help customers at all times
Welcome…. We just became modern day slaves mate…… Uber is fucking us
How could you accept a £27 trip that would last you over an hour. Honestly it's drivers like you who ruin this trade. Don't accept these kinds of jobs!
Lol why should i not accept these jobs lol
@ONTHEROADWITHHR You see this is why you're an idiaaaaat 😂
I think with airports you need to pay £5 for drop off right? That amount needs to be deducted from £41
yes thats true
It don’t worth
thats your opinion my freind
Applying to get my PCO wanna know if it’s worth it for full time , would do 50 hours or so already do 50 hours a week at normal job earning 2.5 after a month , think it’s worth becoming full time?… literally live in central london Camden
yes it is worth it, i will show more earnings for executive drivers and UBER X full time.
THE MONEY YOUR MAKING ISNT THE MONEY YOUR TAKING HOME YOU DONT KNOW YOUR CALCULATIONS AFTER ALL EXPENSES YOUR LEFT WITH UNDER MINIMUM WAGE PROBABLY £7-8 POUNDS AN HOUR UBER & BOLT IS MODERN DAY SLAVERY 💀💀
Do you rent a car or use your own?
I have bought my one car now
UBER is becoming too greedy nowadays as they are not paying drivers their contribution . So many times drivers cannot match the minimum wage also !! The UK government should look into it. Other companies need to compete with Uber so they will be balanced
picking and choosing never worked in the private hire game, just press on and crack away regardless dear boy and you will be alright. work your shift good day bad day add it up end of week was always a 10/12 hr day to make it pay
I remember when my dad did Cab work back in the 1980s he would drive all over the place even Scotland, Wales he did this for years he even had one that went to Ireland this was for a cab form in Dagenham they did long distance back when you relied on A TO Z maps no satnavs he had to pull up all the time looking at the maps i bet many people couldn't do that these days right
Yeh i guess many of the drivers cant even read a a to z nowadays
UBER IS MODERN DAY SLAVERY 💀
It makes ppl money
That Farnham job was at 833pm and took 1 hour 30 mins how you get home by 1030pm from Farnham ? You started east London so must live that way ?
How often do people become sick in taxis im abit scared about that
Touchwood no one has been sick in my car but always carry sick bags and place them at the back just in case.
@ONTHEROADWITHHR touch wood 🤣🤣🤣 I'll just have to deal with it etc im not too fussed
Dont worry the job you getting at time think what you might get at the end of the trip
At those prices I now know why some of their drivers drive like maniacs
Mayfair to Northolt £17 must be mad should of stuck on the knowledge mate
I just did my test it was packed out worrying. plus friends tell me its 45 percent now but you get back 12 percent end of the week.
Not a bad days wage ,similar shifts up here in Liverpool we take around £22-£25 an hour 👍👍👍
Then you have expenses of £7 per hour and 20% eax to pay HMRC - So not much left at the end of the day.
That's really good for only 6 hours. Im in the west mids and I have to work nearly 10 hours to make 150 on a weekday. Also I've noticed you guys in London get big multiplier per mile, you were getting close to £3 per mile there (apart from the big jobs) here is more about £1.3-£1.5 per mile on a weekday. Not to mention there's barely any trip requests unless there's some event so you have to accept close to £1 per mile sometimes
35 years in the industry, Ubers done nothing but screw with its drivers.....prices are 2 damm low....
true, but what can you do .
Where did you pay 400 a month for the rental thats not bad?
get XL 7 seater car and u can make £135 for a 40 mile trip from central london
Great video thanks. 8:19 Give way to the family with the pram ;) New highway code rule H2 When a customer books a ride, you take him there he collects somethng and he asks to go back to the origin again. How does that work in the app?
Thanks for the reminder. Just get the rider to add a stop in the app. Sometimes its good to play around with the app yourself as a rider, because some riders dont know how to add stops etc so sometimes you have to help them.
better once you get those thousand rides under your belt to go exec you can choose pre booked times earn same with less work
I have more than a thousand rides, been doing it part time for a few years works for me
@@ONTHEROADWITHHRif it's working for you that's good!
you said part time do you mix it with another job? what about private hire chaffaeur?
Yes part time, i have a full time career so i go do uber part time.
@@ONTHEROADWITHHRhow is tax combined? As I do have part-time job but looking to do cabs.
What do you use to record?
Go pro
I have been reading your comments, and you always give positive advice. Keep it up. I just received my pco license
Best of luck!
Is your car electric? So no congestion fee ?
No its not electric is a plug in hybrid still have to pay congestion charge.
Is rental worth it ? Electric or hybrid need help bro
having your own car is better.
So many people gonna be job less when uber plans self driving cars in London in 2027
Self driving in london. I doubt it
In london?😂 May be in 20027😄
Hey bro, are you able to provide any info on renting a pco car? I also live in East London near Barking area. Currently renting a 13 plate Prius for 500pm which seems expensive
are you still looking
@ yes bro
@@tomgreen604 swiftcar pco
what dash cam do you use?
I just use a go pro
what car do you drive?
Toyota prius plug in
@@ONTHEROADWITHHR do you think Uber will go 100% EV in 2025 or are they calling bluff
I dont know tbh is it worth it for them, i think that they have their license up for renewal, so it might be some kind of marketing stunt to get TFL on side.
@@ONTHEROADWITHHR that’s another way to look at it. I want to do it part time and waiting on my pco to come through. Shall I buy an ev outright like a cheaper cat s or wait till 2025?
Lets say there's 11 drivers in one spot and a fairly slow day, the algorhythm from what ive observed is to fairly distribute jobs and ensure drivers meet the NLW and around £20PH.. it works with time 'online' too, it wouldn't be fair on a driver who's been online for 15 minutes compared to a driver online for 1-2hours waiting for jobs.. uber does a pretty good job ensuring a day of £20PH, lot of complainers on here but maybe uber should be more transparent with their algorhythm system without BS to stop the mixed messages What does fuck me off is when its actuslly busy, surges left right and center and they cap earnings to a max of £25 If you consistently hit 25 they'll get you either way, few hours later the jobs will magically dry up or the day after in the same earning week they'll make their adjustments to keep you a wage slave. Its all to do with TFL imo, to try and keep people choosing bus driving jobs and trains etc.. if you actually earnt properly on uber it would put people off working elsewhere. Fuckery really..
How many miles total for this day?
Hi Bro! I was wondering if you pay for 1 year insurance or are you on some sort of pay as you go insurance because you do it part time? Thanks!
I pay yearly bcus i use the car for personal use as well.
@@ONTHEROADWITHHR Oh I see, thanks for the response! I'm planning to do uber part time as well, but the yearly insurance is like 4k per year so i was thinking to maybe go with a pay as you go insurance
What are the common and/or unusual problems/issues you come across i.e. parking, pickup & drop off locations that can get up penalties etc... and how you deal with them. Are there particular areas in central london you avoid?
Pick and drop off become a problem when passengers dont know that we cant stop at certain places etc Also have to take note with speed limits as most of london is 20 and if you get caught by the cameras then your getting points.
You will never make this up north for 6 hours. Also them fares your getting is amazing and I heard it’s regular in London. In Birmingham you will get that when there is a surge or on a snowy day. But of course London you have more expense and cost of living is generally higher.
honestly, these fairs for guys down here are not amazing, don't get me wrong i do not take many jobs because they are not worth it. More expenses down here, I only do this part time the guys that do this full time take in about 1200 before expenses sometimes even higher.
£20 pounds an Hour is not the amount that goes in your Pocket to make £1200 in london now you will have to work 6 days a week 10-12 Hours a day maybe more in week days after all expenses your left over with under Minimum Wage this industry is over not worth it to much driving with Uber and the fares are Ridiculous Modern Day Slavery 💀💀
Bro ,that 153 £ is your net profit or uber cut percentages % of that ? Im planning to join uber in Manchester but k still dont understand how and when uber charge drivers
Uber cuts percentage before they give you the job. So just say on your screen a £20.00 job pops up uber has already taken away their charges. So that 153 is profit minus petrol.
Thanks for your reply, mate. So it's not bad ,I mean I work 8 hours shift for 100£ . Driving your car 8 hours for this money sounds better , not rich but you're your own boss at least . However ,keep uploading videos mate ,we love it 🫡🤜🤛
Normally standard in london minimum is £20 pound an hour, if its busy it increases next video is bank holiday stay tuned.
Don’t bother up here in Manchester it’s a joke there’s. No work anywhere believe me I’m sat here now £50 in 6 hours it’s finished up here saturated with drivers done this job 21 years never been so bad looking for minimum wage job better than this
