Fr Simon , I love your honesty, Thank you. I visited glenstal many years ago when Dom Augustine OSullivan was abbot and Dom Francis was Prior, I have beautiful memories of my time there. God bless you Father in your vocation. By the way, I will be 70 in August. I still hold Glenstal in such high esteem, God bless you all.

Very interesting synopsis of your life and interests Fr Martin, coalescing into your current role within the Vatican. The Holy Spirit has a way of cajoling and bringing us to where he wants us to be and in my experience, it is seldom foreseeable. Like you, I have often wondered about the various splits between the churches, knowing that for many of these churches, we are often more similar than different in our core theology.
