I wanna discuss with a fan and get to know why they like it. And I don't mean a cultist fan (God they're creepy). I mean a fan who might actually have a legit reason to like Meyer's books. I've always been on the against side, but nothing is fair if the fans don't give their reasons. Would be great if someone could open up a friendly forum (maybe in this comment section) for people who want to examine the books' success objectively and without hate. Anyone's welcome to start. ^_^

Maybe it's the part where girls really want to follow their heart (and genitals) and leave their brains behind. I have to admit. A novel, a movie and even a fictional character makes for quite the secret fuck ground in the private minds of tween girls. Men have the same exact thing, though more straight forward--called porn. I wonder if it's because women are looked down upon for wanting to watch porn, and so Meyer responded to that bullshit part of soceity with ehr own bullshit. Make sense.

Here's the thing, some of the better movies in this world that are based on books, cartoons, and toys are those that listen to fans of the franchises. However, because Twilight SUCKS on the whole, the fact that the moves are successful soley because tween girls want to get in the pants of Robert & Taylor just emphasizes more WHY the franchise should've NEVER been invented. It's like Teen Mom, encouraging unwanted teen pregnancies from those who have sex without thinking.

Or maybe filmmakers need to try better adapting a big book. It's the same like with harry potter fans. Because most of all the good parts of a book gets critize. I'm not trying be a TwiHard fan here..I can look at it as a movie critic. But when you also judge the book with out reading it, then I get STFU. So this is me not giving a shit. Does it look like I give a shit? Because I don't give a fuckin' shit! :D

EGL explained it so well. This man isn't paid to read the books, then critisize the movies; he's paid to go and watched movies, and tell his viewers his thoughts on ////the movie////. And if the movie did a bad job explaining things that are as important as vampire abortion, that just goes to show that the Twilight series is doing a bad job being a ////movie////.

I disagree. That rule could be more fitting for a sequel, and not an adaptation. An adaptation is a story loosely or closely adapted into another medium, so it should be able to be judged on its own, and you should be able to understand it without having to look into its source material. Most movie-goers go to see a movie, and that's that. Not see the movie, read the book, the spin-offs, author's notes, etc.

The thing about mesmers is they use many many many clones, and many many many movement changes to confuse the enemy. If the enemy isn't confused, then the mes isn't doing his/her job. That said, the pistol offhand first spell is great. I love the damage it can do. The second skill is called Trick Shot, and it's more of a showie/flashy spell than anything else. This one does conditions to 3 foes. Personally, I'm not going to be a boon/condition mesmer, and I'm not doing pistols :P

I'm definitely going to play mesmer, and I'm going to do Greatsword as primary (I think a lot of people are) and Sceptre + Torch as 2ndary weapons
