Just talking about my Irate Diesel t4 setup on my 2000 f350 7.3 power stroke
That's a nice kit from irate ! I have seen those in real life . Really nice kit for someone who wants to leave the truck alone and upgrade the truck drastically...and not have a (Race truck ) I made all the Race truck mistakes when I built my 7.3 but that was my intentions so it's fine .
Still run stock injectors?
I bought this system a few months back and i wonder if its over my head to install it myself. How long did it take you and what is the best way to drop the fuel tank? Did u totally empty it?
If I go with the sump? Do I still need a pickup tube?
If you go with the sump you will not need the pick up tube. You will be cutting a hole in the bottom of your tank though to mount the sump. That’s why I stuck with the pickup tube.
I just bought this kit. Putting it in now.
Dammmmmm sonnn
I am in the process of putting this exact set up in my truck. What did you do with the wastegate solenoid plug since there is no need for that sensor anymore?
get a 470 ohm resistor and put it in the plug so you don't throw a code. also need one for the intake heater
Love seeing these old work horses chug. I have a 99 zf6 manual transfercase with 91K miles on her. I don't winter drive it but I love hearing them cough and lope
mine is a 2000. she's got 311k now. just put a set of fresh injectors in a month ago, made it start a lot better. I love this old pickup.
Super
It gets easier the more you do it. I am not a huge fan of heights but I gotta climb up a 160ft ladder to the top of our corn silo at work sometimes and you just gotta keep going at it
I'll keep that in mind. that might have been 30ft but there is a homemade ladder to climb and Im pretty sure it was built in the horse and buggy days. LOL.
Beautiful
Can we get a full view of the truck?
I'll post a clip of it
It's on another short I made
