You talked about Alex Smith not needing to throw for 300 yards this is really true. He is really efficient what the football and if the offense can stay balanced with the Run game there will be no neex for him to throw over 300 yards. When he was with the Niners you rarely threw for 300 yards but the defense and the running game were so good not doing their part he didn't need to put up those kinds of yards and possibly put the ball in the hands of the defense with turnovers which you probably already knows make some brakes games in the NFL.

as a redskins fan i say you are right,alex is mobile and we got receiving running backs,i like the read option and the fact we don't turn the ball over with him at the center,even with all the injuries,we still should have had a 10 and 6 record ,I am happy with this trade
