    Las estrellas de neutrones por lo general están tan calientes que son como objetos incandescentes, pero si se les da el tiempo para que se enfríen, nadie sabe que color tendrían, algunos dicen gris, quien sabe. Por cierto la caída en tales estrellas no se vería con tamaño angular como se muestra aquí, seria demasiado rápido para el ojo humano

    If the gravity on it is so strong that its pulling light, how can we see it shining?

    • @TheAstroCinema
      @TheAstroCinema 3 дня назад

      It’s important to note that this is a model. In reality, neutron stars emit a lot of X-rays and gamma rays. In fact, they emit more invisible light than visible light. However, we can still see them. You are correct that gravity curves the trajectory of light, but the light is still able to escape, because the escape velocity of a neutron star is not equal to the speed of light.

    • @TheAstroCinema
      @TheAstroCinema 3 дня назад

      @@lu5445 Btw the escape velocity on a surface of neutron star is around 0,5c (half of speed of light).

    Quick question🎉 if I fell to burearon star would I instantly die or what would I die from ?)

    • @TheAstroCinema
      @TheAstroCinema 6 дней назад

      Great question! You would die because of: -Spaghettification: Neutron stars have an extremely strong gravitational force that would stretch and crush your body into pieces. -Radiation: Neutron stars emit extreme amounts of X-rays and gamma rays, which would fry your body. -Rotation: Only if we’re talking about pulsars, they can rotate 400-700 times per second, creating lethal conditions. -Temperature: The surface temperature is around 10 million K (approximately 9,999,726.85 °C or 17,999,540.33 °F). -Strong Magnetic Fields: Their magnetic fields are powerful enough to disrupt atomic structures. In reality, you wouldn’t be able to reach the surface thanks to the extreme radiation and gravity.

      @ I have very theiretical question if you turned on a flashlight in a black hole what would happen to the light ?

    • @TheAstroCinema
      @TheAstroCinema 5 дней назад

      @klraiden This is a very hard question, and honestly, I don’t know if I’m able to answer it, but I will try. First of all, you need to understand how we see things. Everything around us is visible thanks to light, such as sunlight, which hits objects, bounces off them and reaches our eyes. This process allows us to see the world around us. However, inside a black hole, the situation is different. Inside of black hole, there are no materials or particles for light to bounce off (only elementary particles), so we can't see anything. More importantly: The gravity bends the trajectory of light, pulling it toward the singularity. Instead of traveling in a straight line, the light is trapped and cannot escape. Because of this, you wouldn’t be able to see the light, as it would never be able to reach your eyes.

    why it moves so fast

    • @TheAstroCinema
      @TheAstroCinema Месяц назад

      Good question ! The main reason: Neutron stars rotate so fast because when a massive star’s core collapses to form a neutron star, it shrinks dramatically. This makes it spin faster, just like a figure skater spins faster when pulling their arms in. This happens because of the conservation of angular momentum and thanks to its extreme density (6×10^17 kg/m3) it stays together Other reasons: -Rotation before collapse: rotation simply gets amplified during the collapse -Less likely: collision with another neutron star or heavy object And many other reasons…. Thanks for asking, remember be curious :)

      In reality, a neutron star would be hard to see because much of the light emitted by a neutron star is invisible to us, but this is just a model of what it looks like when we add X-rays, gamma and stuff like that and we reproduce it into visible light.

  • @SP-xx9zu

    It's cute, but in fact, to the human eye, a neutron star is almost invisible, like a black hole. A neutron star does not emit normal light radiation, but mainly radio waves, gamma rays, and X-rays. We can "see" and identify neutron stars thanks to measurements, but it is likely that if we get close to it, we will not really see it as we imagine it in the "conventional" perception.

    Do you get a lot of stuttering in Space engine , especially if LOD or load speed is on the higher side? I do really well with low res tectures but as soon as you increase the LOD of terrain, FPS goes from 75+ to 19-20.

    • @TheAstroCinema
      @TheAstroCinema Месяц назад

      Of course I have lags in Space Engine, even though I have high-end computer, unfortunately there is no shader that can increase your FPS.

    • @TheAstroCinema
      @TheAstroCinema Месяц назад

      The best thing you can do to increase your FPS but still have good quality is to lower the Hz in the settings, lower the sight distance, turn off Vsync, set MSA to 4 and slow time or stop time. If you follow these instructions you should have more FPS. You can also clock your GPU to get more power.

      @@TheAstroCinema I use a measly Steam deck but it is optimized well enough to run Space Engine well. But I'll try to tone down the Anti aliasing as you suggested. Space Engine is hands down the most life changing game I've tried. Not for it's gameplay, of course, but it puts into perspective how vast the cosmos is. Everytime I just zip through intergalactic space to zoom in on a speck of light , and it turns out to be a sun or twin star system , with planets, and then land on a planet or it's moon to stare back at the suns and how all of this even is just a mere speck in the vastness that is our corner of the observable universe...
