Hello!! You dont add primer where you exposed the metal? Or does the sealer take care of those spots as well?

Hey Boss, i needyourhelpplease, I got a problem by washing engine and automatic transmission! No any code on scanner. It is a Nissan pathfinder 1998 3L v6 petrol The car drives but changes first to next gear at 5k RPM ! Any help and advice please??? 🙏

Hi If I forgot to scuff new panel before primer. Can I scuff the primer for better adhesion or should I sand back down to e coat and scuff so i wont have problems? Please help. Thanks
Do you know if this is the same on the r50 Pathfinders? I have a 1998. It started recently not going into 4th/overdrive above 55mph or so unless I let off on the accelerator slightly, then it shifts and stays there. Thanks!
I live in a cold climate and my 01 qx4 wouldn't shift into 4th ( o.d ) untill have way through my 30 min drive. The transmission fluid has to heat up enough to go through the torque converter . Buy yourself a stick on oil pan heater and attach it to your transmission. Put a timer on 4 hours before your going to drive . It will shift like a summers day ! Your welcome
As a occasional painter I think i'll use a light scuff pad or i'll burn through to metal all over

That's too warm the transmission fluid in the cold. Perhaps a block heater on the tranny at startup in cold weather would be nicer to the trans?
