    Thank you sharing, is there a place to donate stuffed animals to police stations/court rooms or treatment centers for addicts? this is a very easy thing to donate and from your testimony it is helpful for children in those situations.

  • @ComradeZBunch
    @ComradeZBunch 22 дня назад

    I was at that treatment center in Maynor, Texas. I took off from treatment grounds and hitchhiked into Austin. Being from Virginia, I knew no one and had nowhere to go but was determined to get high "one more time." Jason Chane drove to Austin and found me at an HEB gas station trying to score dope in the parking lot. He believed in me when no one else did-I didn't even believe in myself. Jason spoke my language. He runs a tight ship, and because he continued to hold me accountable, I got well.

    Then they wasn't in recovery. Recovery is learning the new way of life applying principles in your daily life moving forward when you apply those principles your life changes dramatically when you stop using what you learned to stay in recovery then you are not in recovery and therefore those old thoughts and old behaviors come back and you end up doing stuff like killing yourself or others

    Thank you so much for sharing your story Adam. I have struggled with alcohol addiction for years. I am sober now but my grown daughter suffered and went into her own addictions and trauma. She was incarcerated for 4 years and was just released and will be home to be with us soon. It heals little bits and pieces of my broken heart by hearing your story and seeing you take action in your healing. You are a beautiful young man and your honesty is making the world a better place. Good job to you too Dad. Hurt people hurt people and I see your hard work:) Inspiring.

Sam opened the door to hope, and I am forever grateful to him. Jason is truly a healer; I have never met a more beautiful soul. When he speaks, his words resonate deeply within me. I listen with my heart. He is the founder of an incredible treatment center for men in St. Augustine, Florida. This place is truly special-a breath of fresh air in an industry that can sometimes be messy.

    There aint much phsical objects or thing id say im afriad of but there are some situations if be afraid to be in, for instance my dad moved away i got engaged and moved out the house so my sistwr went with him and he sold the place, so im the only one down here still, some days its easy others ill dread the minute i wake up, its pretty scary knowing even though i got my partner and her family here if i need help or advice that the man who taught me everything i know and taught me how to fix shit how to cook and overall how to be a good father and so one , scary knowing i cant just walk a room over to talk to him but im all good, i go fishing when times get rough and it lets me sit back relax and take in the peacefulness of nature and give me something to do other than sit at home

    Most people view treatment, as simply, stopping the use of drugs. It’s so much more than that. The drug use is a symptom-of the real problem.

    I feel like God put you in front of me to share with my adult son. Addiction for my son is not always drugs or alcohol, it can be a woman. When his only thing is to please her, that he would allow her to create such vicious lies about his two little boys from his previous marriage to keep the oldest little boy from living with them, because he had been asking, begging….wanting to have his daddy’s attention so bad. That my son allowed this evil, diabolical woman throw not only his sons under the bus with lies but she even sacrificed her and my son’s little girl to gain what she wanted….his little boys NOT to come live with them. She never once threw her own son under the bus but sacrificed all 3 of his children to appease her selfish self. I wonder now if that is what eats at my son, whom I still love very much and my granddaughter that I don’t get to see anymore because of the lies his wife has told, if he realizes what he tossed away like a piece of trash, two of the sweetest, funniest, most kind little boys….that he as a daddy abandoned. I’ve never experienced that myself, I can only imagine what must go thru these two little boys minds…why doesn’t my daddy, who is my hero, my protector, believe me/us and help us? Why does he not love me/us, am I enough? Aren’t we enough too for you to love and fight for us? Abandoned at 9 & 6 years old by my own son…..I have forgiven because I know I am supposed to, but I wonder what he does to dull the pain in his gut because he knows what it is like to be given up and abandoned by a father and a stepfather. He said many years ago “I will never do that to my kids.” But you have son….and I pray everyday that you come to your senses before it is too late. I’m sending him this interview in hopes that he will hear your words and see what he is doing to his now 11 & 7 year old boys.
