Thanks
Great job. Thank you 🙏
I can't heal and trying to find some place to go to heal from my trauma and I am drowning and nobody is listening to me, well I don't have anyone to listen
Amen. Real talk. I wish I could talk to my dad. Ask him why about life. I wasted years getting high. 3 years clean but I'm still confused
Love you both!!! The truth and sobriety looks great on you both.❤
❤
I just turned 38 on October I've been told I'm an old soul growing up. Thank you for expressing yourself a lot of us think about the same I really need to hear this thank you 🙏
Hop on trt and chase with whiskey, men don’t have time for Feels
Dont live in the past or future, and stay young as you can as long as you can , stay health and happy and dont take things for granted.
That's called knowledge he just dropped and experience! And wisdom is speaking through him. Thank you
❤
My husband went crazy at 30 years old 😳 I had to let him go
😂
Bet you helped 😂
Hey man how's it going this place really works if you have any doubts don't they care they'll help you but only if you want to help I love and miss all y'all
Man I relate to his experience.
They're just going to manipulate you and you'll end up enabling them best thing my family ever did was disowning me you are wrong and part of the problem
When Jason said "you're not going to run me off." He ain't lying. That man will chase you down in order to save your life.
No, I'm too busy working to care about people's drug addictions like quit doing drugs like a real man, okay? Everybody's gonna grow up someday.
Thank you sharing, is there a place to donate stuffed animals to police stations/court rooms or treatment centers for addicts? this is a very easy thing to donate and from your testimony it is helpful for children in those situations.
Not that I’m aware of but you’ve a good idea
I was at that treatment center in Maynor, Texas. I took off from treatment grounds and hitchhiked into Austin. Being from Virginia, I knew no one and had nowhere to go but was determined to get high "one more time." Jason Chane drove to Austin and found me at an HEB gas station trying to score dope in the parking lot. He believed in me when no one else did-I didn't even believe in myself. Jason spoke my language. He runs a tight ship, and because he continued to hold me accountable, I got well.
I love this and it sounds like Jason!
Thank you so much for having Jason on the show! I aspire to be more like you two men.
Thank you, brother.
No Spine And Too Much Time.😢
im waiting to relapse cuz after 3 years sober, that pain you talked about ihas returned and s here to stay. most painful thing is I don't want to use but no way I can carry on much longer. slight break listening to you
Man….That pain can get dealt with.
@it’s a crying shame as you and other recovery podcast, you hear what your soul needs to hear but in reality, where I live and the such is far from reach . That’s why so many of us check out ! Sometimes your in the right pace sometimes you ain’t ! Augustinerrcovery, out of reach !
Are u in the USA? Ejat do u think of weed. Here there are weeds stores everywhere. Tons of ppl high almost 24/7?
Congratulàtions on your recovery.
U make it sound like the family caused u to recover. Some ppl don't care about bounderies etc. They want to kill the pain n get high.
In Canada now weed is 100 % legal.
**Update** September 12th 2024 the judge signed the final orders for the annulment. Free from all of the emotional, physical, mental and psychological abuse. Living my best life and loving it‼️💜‼️😊😊
Then they wasn't in recovery. Recovery is learning the new way of life applying principles in your daily life moving forward when you apply those principles your life changes dramatically when you stop using what you learned to stay in recovery then you are not in recovery and therefore those old thoughts and old behaviors come back and you end up doing stuff like killing yourself or others
Unfortunately you've been there done that but 4 years clean As of today
I remember those days I haven't one in 23 years. It really sucks not knowing where you are or what you did , and how the hell am I getting home.😮😮😮.
Thank you so much for sharing your story Adam. I have struggled with alcohol addiction for years. I am sober now but my grown daughter suffered and went into her own addictions and trauma. She was incarcerated for 4 years and was just released and will be home to be with us soon. It heals little bits and pieces of my broken heart by hearing your story and seeing you take action in your healing. You are a beautiful young man and your honesty is making the world a better place. Good job to you too Dad. Hurt people hurt people and I see your hard work:) Inspiring.
I hear you 😮
Amazing story from both of you
Sam Davis is a body broker, scam artist and predator.
Much respect to both of you for working so hard to build this beautiful father & son relationship 💙.

Gosh Sam, I’m really enjoying these episodes!! Thank you Lindsay, for sharing your story! The self reflection that you mentioned at the end, Sam, is why I ❤️me some Sam!!!!
Basic men shit
Thank you
I’m at a loss for words. I feel a sense of peace in my heart, after listening to Jason speak, knowing good honest people DO still exist. Great interview. Great conversation. Great insight, into addiction. As always, ❤️Me some Sam!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Dad:whhhiiiii?
These two men are truly my heroes. They have done more for my family than anyone ever has, and I’m at a loss for words to express my gratitude. Sam opened the door to hope, and I am forever grateful to him. Jason is truly a healer; I have never met a more beautiful soul. When he speaks, his words resonate deeply within me. I listen with my heart. He is the founder of an incredible treatment center for men in St. Augustine, Florida. This place is truly special-a breath of fresh air in an industry that can sometimes be messy.
Thank you Jeanne for saying such kind words.
Been thee done that, war is hell, but fear .... 2 things ... ghosts ... and dentists ... yep ... that about covers it
Im not really afraid of anything like the common fears, but failure.
That’s a big one.
There aint much phsical objects or thing id say im afriad of but there are some situations if be afraid to be in, for instance my dad moved away i got engaged and moved out the house so my sistwr went with him and he sold the place, so im the only one down here still, some days its easy others ill dread the minute i wake up, its pretty scary knowing even though i got my partner and her family here if i need help or advice that the man who taught me everything i know and taught me how to fix shit how to cook and overall how to be a good father and so one , scary knowing i cant just walk a room over to talk to him but im all good, i go fishing when times get rough and it lets me sit back relax and take in the peacefulness of nature and give me something to do other than sit at home
I’m there now. My dad died in Jan and my mom has Alzheimer’s, lost my aunt and uncle the last two months… I feel you
@@TheUnbroken-withSamDavis I’m sorry to hear this. Alzheimer’s is a hard disease to witness and to care for, at times. Thank goodness you got you “good”, prior to these things. I admire you Sam. As always, I ❤️me some Sam!
Thank you for your yes. This is nothing short of powerful. I needed to hear this. Thank you🤍
Hard to listen. Truth. Measuring exposure as part of trauma work in this case means leaving the video before the end. This time. With gratitude. We'll return.
Most people view treatment, as simply, stopping the use of drugs. It’s so much more than that. The drug use is a symptom-of the real problem.
The treatment centers won’t make money if they fix the individual, they want an addict to attend multiple times.
I feel like God put you in front of me to share with my adult son. Addiction for my son is not always drugs or alcohol, it can be a woman. When his only thing is to please her, that he would allow her to create such vicious lies about his two little boys from his previous marriage to keep the oldest little boy from living with them, because he had been asking, begging….wanting to have his daddy’s attention so bad. That my son allowed this evil, diabolical woman throw not only his sons under the bus with lies but she even sacrificed her and my son’s little girl to gain what she wanted….his little boys NOT to come live with them. She never once threw her own son under the bus but sacrificed all 3 of his children to appease her selfish self. I wonder now if that is what eats at my son, whom I still love very much and my granddaughter that I don’t get to see anymore because of the lies his wife has told, if he realizes what he tossed away like a piece of trash, two of the sweetest, funniest, most kind little boys….that he as a daddy abandoned. I’ve never experienced that myself, I can only imagine what must go thru these two little boys minds…why doesn’t my daddy, who is my hero, my protector, believe me/us and help us? Why does he not love me/us, am I enough? Aren’t we enough too for you to love and fight for us? Abandoned at 9 & 6 years old by my own son…..I have forgiven because I know I am supposed to, but I wonder what he does to dull the pain in his gut because he knows what it is like to be given up and abandoned by a father and a stepfather. He said many years ago “I will never do that to my kids.” But you have son….and I pray everyday that you come to your senses before it is too late. I’m sending him this interview in hopes that he will hear your words and see what he is doing to his now 11 & 7 year old boys.
