For all guitarists - note the capo is a Keyser Quick-Change - a lot of professionals use them, they come in 24 colours, and they are relatively cheap @ about £12 - £16 if you shop around. I'm not being paid by Keyser, by the way, just trying to be helpful to fellow guitarists.

Perhaps you would like to listen to Tommy and his late brother Phill playing together in the Aussie pubs years ago, both wonderfully talented, Tommy the showman Phill the quiet relaxed chilled one their talent playing together was the best. RIP Phill I’m sure Tommy misses jamming with his older bro. the entire Emmanuel family were so very musically gifted.

Tommy is unique. You can decide you prefer another style or perhaps another instrument, and then you would simply watch something different. In many countries the name Tommy Emanuel means musical entertainment, pure and simple. Tommy exudes a joy in being able to share his love of music. He is a gift and should be received as such. 🙏💜🇺🇸

He's not ever going to stop. If you're a super guitar nerd like me all you have to do is watch him for 5 minutes and you realise he's the one. Nobody alive on earth can do what he does.

He’s amazing for sure. However, at times I believe more notes cause each note to loose their expression. For example, Clapton and Gilmore make even a single note count and draw at your heart strings. Just a thought.
Sorry, as great as players like Clapton and Gilmour you can't take a single thing away from Tommy by comparing him to anyone even Mozart. Tommy is the one. He cannot be diminished. There is no shadow large enough to completely obscure him. His shadow falls upon a part of all players.
Have you tried to sustain one note on an acoustic guitar..They have diff styles and good on what they each do..don't compare apples to oranges..

what is incredible ...is after all those notes and demands on that acoustic guitar...it is in tune at the end.

Guitar playing is a great skill. The technicalities involved in guitar playing are really extraordinary. But to experience and explore divinity and purity within through the sounds of music, listen to the sitar, flute and tabla.
It's kinda sad to witness someone faking talent. Slight kid here, of course. If T could sing witchita lineman like Glenn Campbell, I'm certain Glenn would show back up and announce that ' hey, me and Tommy are gonna do 50 shows and then I'm heading home for good '. What a treasure this guy is!!
