Maintaining synchronization is a part of professionalism which she clearly is not. She is definitely overdoing it here. Even after the criticize, in drip era she was giving little to no energy. She needs more training and she's the one who's bringing the group down. I really hope she improves. She's still so young

It's the other way around. She doesn't belong to any group and craving for "solo". But this is a girl group where you synchronize unless she performs "solo dance" like Chiquita.

In that case, she should have just been a solo artist.

The first one was wrong tempo and choreo. Just watch what 6 other girls dance. It's either 6 girls all danced wrong and Ahyeon the only one who danced right (which I don't think so).

However, when people refer to "overdancing," they’re not saying her dancing isn’t good,they’re pointing out that her performance might overpower the group dynamics or the intended feel of the choreography. Overdancing, in simple terms, happens when a dancer uses too much energy, emphasizes movements more than the rest of the group, or adds expressions or gestures that don’t match the tone of the music or choreography. It can break the flow and harmony of the performance, making it less cohesive as a group piece. In Ahyeon’s case: 1. Facial Expressions: For a performance to match the mood of the song, dancers use expressions to convey emotion. Throwing in too many intense expressions, like winks or overly energetic smiles, can feel out of sync if the music or lyrics call for a softer or more relaxed vibe. 2. Energy Management: In choreography, energy should rise and fall to match the rhythm and dynamics of the song. If a dancer gives 100% energy the entire time, it can look stiff or overwhelming, especially during moments that require subtlety or smoothness (e.g. the pre-chorus). 3. Synchronization: Dancing in a group isn’t about holding back or blending in, it’s about working together to create a balanced performance. A dancer standing out too much (intentionally or not) can disrupt the uniformity, even if they’re technically skilled. This critique doesn’t mean Ahyeon isn’t talented...she clearly is !!! But refining energy and expressions to fit the choreography’s tone and the group’s overall presentation will make her performances even stronger. It’s about finding balance, not underdancing or overcorrecting.

We don't need to be a dancer when we see a good one and this girl is giving good vibes. Shame on those shaming her.

I'm asking politely no hate are you a dancer because I have experience and I don't think she's messy at all it just in my personal opinion she is the best dancer in group (no hate to the other girls) so she is gonna have more power than the other dancers when she is performing ( is because she has better isolations and control over her moves) that's why when she is performing she stands out and people feel like she is messy ( also not agreeing with this ''overdancing'' thing because in dancing that's what you should do, show your energy and passion through the performance and again no hate to you just asking).

@@denisabaemon12345You might have experience but Ruka is literally classed as Main dancer. And the thing is not one, two but many people, including fans and supporters see problems with Ahyeon’s energy control when dancing.

She wasn't messy in any case. You guys saw her dance in the first two lines and made that her while personality. If you even bothered to watch the entire fan cam you would realize she was in sync with the members.....but if course you guys don't want to admit it because then you would realize that you were vomiting nonsense from the start.

I think your opinion can apply to her singing too. I feel like she also has trouble conveying different emotions and feelings while singing. She is very young and also a rookie, so she has plenty of time to improve 😊

@mokotoathedog yeah. She does sometimes do too much while singing. I'm no hater, but I'm saying this out of concern for her vocal cords. If she keeps doing these high notes, she might strain her voice. Not to mention that she might not even have the proper training/technique to do high notes without straining her voice. I love Ahyeon, but I'm simply saying this to help her.

It's about over performing As you can see in the before fancam she is over dancing and her expressions are exaggerated she is not in synce with the group fans defend her by saying this is how a performance should be but this is not right. She can dance energetically like fellow members Rami and ruka while being in synce and on beat . Forver is not a type of song where you need lip bites she needs to execute her expressions well that was what is it about fans criticized her because of this I know she is not trying to outshine her members but it seems like it that's why she got hate for example her performance can be compared to Asa who gives us enough of everything while ahyeon overdoes it . fans would say over is better than under but it's not a performer must be well executed

Totally agree and it's weird to me how everybody's falling for it. The haters are wrong but the people that gave constructive criticism are correct. In the before she's clearly overdancing and in the after (and the many videos that have come out showing her being distant or not trying anymore) she's underdancing. I personally think that she's better in the before compared to after, but it's so annoying to see this after behavior being so forced. From past videos I think in interviews she was always timid and shy, so it's ok if she's not very interactive, but when it comes to performances I 100% agree with you that it looks deliberate. It's very very unprofessional.
