Uhm... Midjourney cost $$$. You can get better characters out of Meta AI and Copilot at this point and both are 100% free. I use Meta AI via Whatsapp and I use Copilot via Skype. Both 100% free.

This was great to see the results but I would have rather seen the prompts that helped achieve those results.

I've been searching for a way to have AI Technology inserted into a rectum for pleasure enhancement purposes. Please advise on the newest innovations in rectum insertion AI Technology. It's obviously going to be a growing field. My Chocolate Starfish is tingling already in anticipation of all the amazing AI Leather Cheerio technologies that are on the Stink Portal horizon.

I tried several ways to configure a GPT to be a DM for an RPG. The biggest problem was getting it to use its “knowledge” documents consistently. Th best result so far has been just one document in the knowledge - a pdf map - and putting everything else directly in the instructions in markdown format including sections for setting, economy, characters, locations, history of previous sessions. I found that the GPT is much more consistent with its instructions than its knowledge and uncannily good at inferring links and relationships between different sections. To make changes I just cut out the instructions, paste them into notepad to edit them, and paste them back. It also works to ask the GPT meta questions about itself, like “give some suggestions to make this game better” or “what additional character information would help you run encounters better” - it makes really good suggestions that I would not have thought of.

I've created a custom gpt that rolls dice using python behind the scenes and acts as an advanced theater of the mind 5e dm for LMoP. Still fine tuning it but wow you can play it in voice to voice and it's pretty great so far.

Good video. Is not clear (for me) about if Markdown is for building prompts (improving understandability of ChatGPT) or just for format responses.

issue is that chatgpt isn't nearly as creative with the characters and campaign plot

Can I use it for free or with gpt 3?

I've recently discovered and began using ChatGPT. It helps me fully fill out a scene for the players. I mostly have to rewrite what I want is a better way. I'm going to try this out when I get home. Is this the free version or the paid version of ChatGPT??? EDIT: I looked into it and this is NOT the free version. In order to get the DM assistant, then it will cost at least the Premium Sub which is $20/month. I will say that knowing things like this are available on the premium sub, makes it much more worth it. Another difference is getting pictures or scenes created. I can't do this in the free version either...

Is there a place where I can get a copy of the prompts you use versus trying to capture it from the video and typing it all out?

this is awesome, great for one shots where maybe you dont have the time or energy to come up with something from scratch for every character but you still want to play something that is fully fleshed out. Does it do personality traits, ideals bonds and flaws? I know someone that will do their whole character sheet except those. I feel like gpt could be great for descriptions of places/things as well, especially when the group goes off in a random direction you havnt planned, you could tell gpt about your world and the places they have been and things they have done and it could give you quick encounters or something . Do you have any plans of doing something like this but for nps/enemies or like "kobold fight club" where you could ask it for a combat appropriate for your specific group/level and it could give you the stats/quantities of enemies and descriptions of them as well :D so much potential!!!
