I understand HC, and it's challenge but HC should've never made it's way past the 1-60 grind. HC players are some of the most skilled players, don't get me wrong - but this type of shit shouldn't constitute starting over from the very beginning. That being said, I find grief videos highly entertainin... and comical. I know that's an asshole take on it, but video games aren't designed to play through the entirety without dying.
Wow is just a game with too many variables outside of the individual players control. Which is not a good game for a hardcore experience... This is coming from someone who LOVES hardcore experiences in many games. . Did a quest pvp flag you without telling you it was going to do so and a rogue was waiting right there to kill you the moment it did? Did 15 enemies just randomly spawn on top of you at the exact same time? Did you miss/get resisted on a major cooldown that was going to make the difference between life and death? Did you take a mislabeled quest that claimed to be your level, but actually had you fighting elites 5 levels over you? And then obviously what we saw here, group content is a whole nother beast with a whole list of variables added in that you as the player have zero control over... . I genuinely have no idea why anyone would want to play HC wow. I thought it was just a ploy for streamers to have endless content. But people actually choose to play on HC servers. It's wild to me.

wow hardcore is the biggest trust fall, trusting 20+ individuals to not let their intrusive thoughts win and fuck up an entire groups day is the most insane thing ive seen. Mainly because it keeps happening and they keep going back.

Because it's halrious. Also no they don't lose the charater, they can literally just transfer it off that server to a normal server. There's literally no risk. They just say it's gone forever to make it sound for alluring and clickable to viewers like you.
