Hi Oscar, me and my stupid group of friends got inspired by your cartoon “Our Stupid School” and right now we only have the script for episode 1 and we don’t know where to go after this since everything is chaos. can you give us some tips? Thank you.
That sounds cool, the way I made Our Stupid School was pretty much just writing a script and then getting all the neccesary lines recorded then animating it in order, which I know probably isn't very helpful info 😭 but here's some tips that I learnt whilst animating season 1 that might help: firstly draw characters and backgrounds in a high quality because when I originally drew all the characters they were drawn in a pretty small chunk of a 1080p canvas which meant when they were used at a normal size in episodes, they looked low quality (this can be seen in episodes 2 and 3 which were actually the 1st and 2nd animated) also the backgrounds were originally just 1080p and zoomed in for some shots which meant they also became low quality, 2nd would probably be to not announce something before it's finished because I feel like I lose motivation to actually finish something if I announce it too early since everyone already comments being excited and stuff which is the payoff for making something cool and if there's already been that payoff I don't really have a motivation to finish it anymore, that might just be me though. I'm also planning to do some kind of video about how Our Stupid School was made at some point in the gap between seasons 1 and 2, so that might have some useful info in it, hope this helps.
Id recommend making all your backgrounds and assets in vector so you can resize it anyhow and it will still look good

This reminds me of my highschool except that no student at my school is British
just found this series last night when I saw episode 5 in my recommended, and then I watched the other episodes, I love this art style as well, it just has such an almost nostalgic look, the it kinda looks like a combination of flipaclip and microsoft paint, but not in a bad way, and in a way where it actually has a sort of nice charm to it, this is by far my favorite episode, the teacher being a robot was such a bizarre twist with no build up but at the same time I can almost never be mad about something as sci fi as a robot teacher, overall, impressive for a small channel. 👍
actually, rewatching it, I did realize one bit of subtle foreshadowing, in the form of the teacher being the only one to have a square head, square eyes AND square pupils.
