If I get copyrighted I'll cry
This is embarassing (especially the capcut watermarks I'm SORRY) but honestly I'm pretty proud of my progress, more to come on 2025 since I wont be able to animate until then.
I was originally planning on leaving the exercises out (right after the first animation), they were supposed to be 50 but I got SO BORED and you can see how I progressively lost intrest in doing things right but I wanted to add everything I made this year. It was a very chaotic one and I wasn't able to do much, but I've been studying traditionally and trying to get ...

i followed a tutorial (more of a class tbh, i learned so much) made by Dong Chang, i've been learning a lot from him :] I only did roughs and tiedowns, I REALLY admire the people that work as clean up animators because omg it takes so long🙏 I ALSO NOW UNDERSTAND TIME SHEETS!!! that's my biggest flex this month and I will try to surpass that achievement yay now that krita is off the menu, with t...

how long did the gachiakuta animation take you?
This is fire, those turnarounds especially were clean as hell, great job!
He definitely hid a few clips before showing that one.
1:17 is that my GOAT reigen arataka?
oh man seeing this takes me back to my animation days, I took classes for 4 years and honestly still flopped in the end lol, I wanted to be an animator growing up but in the end I wasn’t cut out for it mentally lol I still enjoy drawing tho :3
gachiakuta YESSIR
The moment I heard Casiopea, I knew this reel would be poppin' 🙌
Dude your animations are so good.
Clicked 4 casiopeia stayed 4 peak
Omg GACHIAKUTA!
I tink getting good at drawing is a huge part about what makes animations good. I would say art is like 70% or 60% and animation is 40% 30%
Nahhh this is cool afff
HOLY SHIT CASIOPEA
This is hella good
The program I use is Clip Studio Paint EX
@@spinferaa ohh
This is just the standard G-pen right?
@@platinum5569 for the most part yes but I also used Nacho Pen (code 1837572) in some of these; they're not really that different tho
10 missed calls from MAPPA
0:37 YOU JUST STARTED POPPING OFF O MY GOD I LOVE THESE CHARACTERS THEY LOOK SO COOL!! great work i love to see it <3 what program did you use for these?
dis is so epic
Sorry for asking but what app do you animate on
Hey, love your work. I want to learn how to draw and was wondering who you recommend. Also what fundamentals should I learn. It’s a bit overwhelming. Should I start digital or use pencil and paper?
@@booleyP Thanks! About fundamentals, learn all of them! I learned on youtube starting with form, shape, line and shadow. Then I got to more complicated stuff like perspective. I'll recommend some artists. Throughout my journey as an artist my "passion" changed many times but for all of them Ethan Becker pretty much raised me as an artist. I have also learned a lot from Proko, Ergo Josh, Toniko Pantoja, Mohammed Abgadi, Ross Draws, Sinix, Emilio Dekure and some others that I dont remember hehe. Definitely check out their art and videos, they're professionals also. Ethan Becker also talks about some of this guys and simplifies their teaching techniques in a fun way, which has helped me a lot. I also studied a lot of artists that I really like by using Ethan's techniques, but be careful, he can be confusing at times. I've known him for at least 4-6 years and I only started understanding some of his videos this year. There's also a ton more of teachers out here in RUclips giving free classes, also there are Kim Jung Gi interviews that are pretty cool. If you're just starting, pen and paper is great. If you by any chance have tons of time and money, digital can also be a choice but personally I found digital art overwhelming heheh especially at the beginning. I had my tablet for five years now and before I actually used it, it was collecting dust for like two years. Good luck and, most importantly, have fun!
@ thank you very much, I will look into them. I am starting out on pencil and paper
so reel
Gachiakuta spotted. Liking and subscribing

1:17 REIGEN!!!!????
IT’S REIGEN!!!
@SweatyConMan BAHHHH!!! *Explode*
Wowww, the improvement and the personality on these animations are great, and the fact that at the start, it may seem choppy but the ones near the end is really, really good. The few ones at the start is just really gud, but the other half is really good. This will really be something I could use as inspiration and a reminder that I started animating a few months back, and stopped for a few months, then came back after gaining some inspiration again, I stopped cuz I had to system reboot my phone since the password thing bugged out or something, lost a lot of progress, but I can always start all over again. I will probably rewatch this someday, and I'll comment on this when ever, I wanna support animators like you buddy, it's really just great, you're really just great, and I'm happy for that.
OMG I Love the Gachiakuta animation keep it up👍👍👍
Was not expecting gachiakuta. You’re awesome
Went from standard, good beginner level, animation exercises, to jaw dropping anime/arcane level works. How. Just. How 🤯
Hey can i ask how you started to make animations? I want to start too, but i don't know how to start
@@Betehe I started with basic exercises, I know they look boring and I'm not going to lie, they are, but I promise it's worth the time. All I know I have learned from youtube and I started with Krita and Flipaclip! Both are free and easy to understand, especially Flipaclip. My favorite artists that I've learned from here are Ethan Becker and Dong Chang, I hope it helps!
And how much time do You put everyday to make animation?@@spinferaa
It depends on how long the animation is. If It's a 2-5 second animation, maybe 2-8 hours (depends on what quality I'm aiming for), but the gachiakuta bit took me sooo long honestly I don't actually remember. It also varies on how interested I am in animating something I hope I understood the question hehe lmk
Im glad that RUclips has been recommending small animator channels to me lately. I needed the inspiration to continue animating as well. Nice reel man 👏
