how make your brake bleeder retain vacuum. When you buy it add silicon lubricant to the 2 gaskets. It will make it seal vey well.

Misfire on acceleration. Using BimmerLink can see the spark burn duration for each cylinder. Cylinder 4 had low millisecond duration compared with others. Changed coil. Problem fixed, misfire gone. No more error codes. The error codes associated with this problem were as below. If the alarm indication flashes fast when you initially lock the car, and the interior light is on, even though the car is locked - one of the doors is not shut properly. It should only flash (pulse) relatively slowly even from the first moment it is locked. On an R55 (clubman) it can be the side door that isn’t latched.

In very hot weather / direct sunshine it can lead to the sunroof not closing. It attempts to close, thinks there is an obstruction & so reverses. Very inconvenient. If you push down firmly on the centre of the glass as it closes, it will overcome the problem and allow it to close.

How to fix. First the entire assembly must be removed from the door, which takes quite a long time. See pelican parts website for pics and procedure of that.

Only if you have autolights option. If the auto light knob is left in the On position, the lights will come on as shown with unlock.

Great tip, thanks. I also hit the wind deflector with some WD-40 w/ teflon, and put some silicone oil on the tracks, closes by itself now again. must have had some sand in the tracks. Cheers

Thank you, I could not figure out the cargo nets for the life of me. I was so confused about the one that goes on the floor bc why would you add a net on a floor but to keep things down makes sense
I have a brand new one do I need to do this ? I don’t have the wrench tool ? I tried using my VS820 for the first time today but it was useless, wouldn’t hold any pressure at all ? It stayed at zero psi and would not pressurise at all ? What’s could be the issue.
