it's a lovely place to see how a engine shed used to be like. There are so many great awesome steam railway lines all over the UK. To me that's lovely in it's self.
Sorry if a silly question but why are some painted green and some painted black?
I'm not that sure tbh. I think and I could be wrong about this but the green engines are for passenger use and black for freight. But most of the GWR engines were used as mix mixed traffic under BR days
