So far, I a find the reports too wordy and clients will get lost and overwhelmed with amount of information. Some of the features are helpful but, less is more IMHO.

Will very likely start doing my reinspecting in a similar manor and charging more for them as well. They are always a hassle if not a really simple reinspection.

Its not what its CRACKED UP to be, I wouldent have it....

looks like they simply nailed too high up on the panel, and maybe not enough nails also, I have been installing hardy for about 25 years now, and the only time's I've seen this, it was almost always the symptoms I suggested . I practice proper nailing , and myself, I have never had this happen on my jobs because of that .

Just go buy a finish nail gun and nail them at the lower edge. You will never notice pin nails

Stainless screw it in. Rattle will continue and eventually make it fall out.

where can we buy your template?

Currently, I’m sending my reports out as a pdf that’s generated from my inspection software on my computer. No links to an html or the like. Does ScribeWare allow this option? I like it for a few reasons. My clients data is never sent to anyone but my client. All reports are saved on my machine as well as in my email’s sent folder. I don’t have to worry about “Link not working!” Complaints from either tech issues or incompetence. And I don’t like repeated notifications of clients/agents viewing the report that I get from my current program.

Thanks for the info, looks like markup is android specific. Do you know if the markup app on iPhone will work the same?

Thanks, for the video Dylan! I had Steve at Scribeware bring over my HG template (very large). I have since purchased a template from Mike Paris, with help we are modifying his template to build out our template in Scribeware. I am not very techy and trying to get six of us up to speed quickly. A lot of assistance from Scribeware and others! Learn the very basics of the template modifications before just jumping in.

Thanks for the video! I am a current HG user doing Recreational Vehicle (RV) inspections, I like what I see so far with SW. I see how HG Styles and Material map to SW Section Items. It is not clear to me how to map HG Inspection Items to SW.

Why erase them? If you left them alone would they still look the same in the observation?

Game changer! Set your SoP and forget about it till you get back to the office. Got a flagged item you need to look up - - this feature won't let you send the report till you clean sweep it.

That magnifier is so cool! It draws attention to the issue while giving context with the 'Big Picture' or what is called the 'Establishing Shot' surrounding the magnifier. Establishing Shot is a term I borrowed from the movie industry which is all about story telling.

Yes, I find them useful. As I use any one comment from the original ScribeWare template, I am editing the comment in the library to be relevant to what I find in the homes in my area. BTU (Big Thumbs Up)

In the upper left-hand side of each comment section, near the title, there is a reddish-orange box with a dash that appears when you complete info in the comment section. If you check the box it turns green, is that intended to be checked once the comment is proofread, or is there another function that I'm not understanding?

When sending the report during the publish process, is there a way to send the report to the client including the invoice, and next send the report to other interested individuals without the invoice?

I wouldn't stand below this. Those things are heavy. Add the height and that is a recipe for a free trip to the hospital.
