Recently got into the game and after 50 runs and beating the game a few times on the first few heat levels I'm trying to actually get decent at the game and make informed decision during my runs and after watching a couple tierlist videos (by other rather popular hades content creators) I think your tier list is "the best" (even though its a semi subjective topic). And not because you're incredible at the game or because you give solid reasonings for your decisions but simply because your tier list is kind of unique and I love how top heavy it is. I had the impression the game is very well balanced and every single weapon and aspect is pretty good and can be used (obviously differs from speedrunning but whatever). Your tier list reflects that and even when you rank the lowest weapons (though you only really call 3 of them BAD) you still kind of appreciate them. I also really love to see a bunch of different weapons in your A and B tiers. Sure, the railgun, the bows and Achilles spear tend to be hands down among the best weapons in the game but you still rank other aspects well. Most other tier lists just completely shit on all of the fists with demeter being the best one and even that one reaching barely B tier, all of the swords and most shields except beowulf not appreciated and all that jazz Pretty long comment to just say solid tierlist lmao

I've cleared 20 heat with most aspects but struggled with Achilles spear a lot. Hera was decent for me but thanks to ur guides i think i might get significantly better at these two ❤

Zeus was the first one I had great runs when I started speedrunning. That pulverizong blow double merciful end triggering is actually so useful information❤ gotta use that. Pb with that merciful end is 11.43

Was just stoppin by to enjoy some sword shenanigans after the 3wep race at GDQ this year got me nostalgic. Nice remiscining over the early days of running and Hades cup with some of the old guard. Hope things are well with ya, see ya when Hades2 drops!

Does Flurry Jab still give extra hits on the dash strike for Achilles Spear?

Crit does alot of Dmg, but it's not reliable on the non-boss Enemys you want to one-shot. Gods-pride and Aphro-attack is the better Choice. The Hundred hit Damage you loose on the Boss is worth one- and two-shoting EVERYONE. Aphro is faster. You only need one or two Poms, that can be get early. Meanwhile Heartwrent is not as easy to get and Slow to set up in Combat. Artemis clears Bosses Faster, but Aphro Clears the whole Region faster.

I must admit, I hate Beowulf. I have sub-8 minute times with other weapons, hundreds of hours into Hades; at the very least, I feel like I don't suck. I've watch every Beowulf tutorial I can find and I still feel like I'm lumbering around with only one leg and one arm, clunky as hell, barely functioning. Just a moment ago I had what many may consider the ultimate Beowulf run: Epic Artemis on the Attack, Epic Poseidon on the Cast, an extra cast from Chaos, Charged Shot Hammer, and Mirage Shot, all before leaving Tartarus. Doesn't get much better, right? I was leaving Asphodel around eight minutes. Playing on the Nintendo Switch, if that matters. I understand that I'm wrong, I know I'll draw comments telling me I suck, etc. Maybe I just need practice; everyone on planet Earth acts like Beowulf is fantastic. All the same, I feel like I'm trying to swim across the English channel with a block of concrete tied around my ankle, using this aspect.

Does 'Exit Wounds' help with Beowolf builds?

I was completing my Dark Reflections prophecy while also trying to do the Guan Yu run...and it SUCKED. Third try I got +3 dashes and it changed my play style and I just melted everyone.

I'm not sure if you'll reply, but I'm curious about something with Poseidon sword. Would you prioritize exit wounds over Artemis attack in a cast build where mirage shot is almost always really good?

Zeus shield is what I cleared 32 heat with for the first time. I’ve tried the merciful end version, and I’ll say that I’d recommend Zeus flourish to someone new to Zeus shield. Merciful end isn’t super consistent and I feel like having Zeus on special makes it so you get used to the versatility of the aspect rather than the forcing merciful

Thanks for the guide. Never used to use Hera bow that much, but now consider it probably one of my favorite weapons. I like how versatile it is, with the build only truly needing Aphro cast and snow burst to do ridiculous damage. Definitely the most consistently powerful bows in the game

I'm surprised you didn't go for Exit Wounds even with Quick Reload already acquired. Your level 3 crush shot does about 180 base damage, IIRC, which means your mirage shot if you get it would add about 55 upfront burst damage per gem. But Exit Wounds adds a delayed 100 damage per gem to the target they lodge in. The fact that you have to wait for it to pop is annoying, but it's also a one-boon investment and not 2. Plus if you get lets of poms it gives you something else to invest in once crush shot hits diminishing returns.

Bro wtf? Gilgamesh fckn Melts Bosses and Rooms alike. You basicly just hold Atack and Dash down for the entire Room and go Unga-Bunga except for ocacional Maim on the Boss.

Chiron with Dionysos on Special and Cast, Aphrodite on Attack, Zeus on Dash and Artemis on Call. A Build with beautifull Potential to Wreck Ass allthough you should avoid Zeus×Aphrodite

Arthur shouldn't be viewed with Double-Edge. Go with this: -Hoarding Slash, Golden Touch -Start with Hypnos Keepsake -Go Boonless on Attack Special and Cast -Change to shattered Shackle after Tartarus I'm a Goddamn Casual, but the Gods started Complementing me left and right how fast i am. I don't even have Companions yet.

I always thought that the rail only really has Zeus attack as a viable option. Love your content, watching them always makes me learn something new about the game.

Is there a human being alive that can tell me how to get the flury jab for the spear if not all the time then most of the time?!?!?!? This is the most ridiculously hidden piece of information known to civilized man since 1467!!!!! Nobody freakin knows......and if they think they know guess what.....5 other people contradict one another till I puke and give up the search. IF ANYONE OUT THERE CAN GIVE ME THE SPECIFICS ON HOW TO MAKE SURE YOU CAN PLAY WITH THE FLURRY JAB AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE FOR THE SPEAR I WOULD BE ETERNALLY GREATFUL!!!!
