My bass has fret markers on the side of the neck. That helps a lot in the beginning. Over time, the fingers just get drawn to at least the "right" general area. I still have to do a lot of fine tuning by ear though. So, I guess my answer would be you spend a lot of time with the instrument and trust your ears. Hope that helps at least a little bit.
You probably spent hundred of hours practicing this skill, but I bet it was worth it when you reached the point where you could (seemingly) effortlessly elicit this smooth, soothing sound.
Here's a blast from the past. I haven't listened to Robert Fripp or King Crimson for ages. But you're absolutely right, he sometimes uses devices like augmented chords to great effect... and thank you for your encouragement🫶🎸🤗
Perfect 👌
Hey will you teach me guitar?? Love from India 🙏🤌
Dear @imperfect_abhi, you can dm me at instagram.com/guido_haefele/; let's work something out.
When was the last time you washed that filthy jumper????🤢🤮
Suberbe instrument and well played !
Thank you so much, and yes, it is by far the nicest bass I've ever used. I wish Furch would make an upright that played as easily as this one...
How do u know where the notes are without any frets?

I'm not trained in theory but I play a riff in C with thirds that reminds me of "Lean on Me"
Over there flexing your guitar chops I see. 😂
Is it a funeral march for your old bedsheet?
Not really, but maybe somebody should write a funeral march for the occasion😢😩 Thanks for the inspiration😉🤩
Make longer videos slow your playing as an instructional and you will get a lot of views trust me
Kool stuff 😎
Cant hear the bass
Maybe you can try to use headphones or a stereo. Low frequencies can be hard to hear on phone speakers or earbuds.
Simpler Things can Sound better Sometimes :)

Love augmented triads. Same shape up and down the neck and a great way to introduce a new key.
