Its perfectly normal, all Hoover/Candy washing machines are like this since most of them do have quite whiny brushed motors

@@m4speedway good luck with everything. I think mine was two pennies rubbing together. I took them out and it seems to be better. Speedy recovery.

Carbon brushes on the commutator. Hoover motors have always been very noisy, but last a very long time. I'm a Hoover engineer if you were wondering.
Thanks, I thought it might be as I've been looking on the Internet & this seemed a common cause. So will it always make this noise & is there anything that can be done? Is it worth reporting it to the company (with videos)? 🤷♀️
@@m4speedway once the brushes bed in a bit it will get a little quieter, but not by much.
@@barrymcgrath5249 Why do hoover machines make so much noise?? I can't take the noise level, I can't do night washing as it's so loud it's heard by people sleeping. I never knew about brushed motors and inverter motors before now, but I want a quieter inverter, what can I do?
@@m4speedway if the machine is under guarantee then call hoover and get them to send you a service engineer because the motor is excessively noisy. They should send a person with a replacement motor.
Is it OK to still use the machine?? I have only had it for 7 days and it's been making the noise since day 1.

If you got a quiet motor then it wont make that noise but the trouble is that you have to buy another machine to replace it and the annoying noise will go away because you cant buy a silent moter to fit in you washing machine im sorry if i didnt help if you find one then that good

@@littlemoon9951 i think i figured it out. it's not a westlife song and i did that because i went insane and googled it, it's a song called "no limits"by 2 unlimited because after the "no"'s was the lyric "there's no limit"
