This is my take on this great 50mm lens for the E-mount that I've been using for close to a year now. It's accompanied me on a number of projects now and has really become a favourite of mine! I hope you enjoy this review/love letter! Let me know what you think. jaeger_and_his_shots

A review of the Voigtländer 42.5mm F/0.95, one of a handful of superfast lenses available for the M43 system. I love this lens but struggle to recommend it. But I do still love it. jaeger_and_his_shots
Speedboosting a Legend - Using the Canon 85mm 1.2 MKII on the Micro Four-Thirds System
Просмотров 8 тыс.5 лет назад
I bought a used copy of the Canon 85mm 1.2 MKII for use on my GH5 and Gx8 with the Viltrox Speedbooster. I found very little information about this combination on the internet so I thought that I would detail my findings in case somebody else thought that this might be a good idea. TL;DW: it sucks. Save your money. I put my pictures here: jaeger_and_his_shots
Fire From The Gods - The Voiceless (Drum Cover)

A drum cover of Fire From The Gods' track "The Voiceless". This was a long time coming for us and took us a few solid months to complete from start to finish. A few delays and distractions caught us along the way yet we pulled it off! We are all immensely proud to present this to you after all the hard work we put in. This has been a huge learning and bonding experience more than anything and w...
Smoke - A S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Tribute
Просмотров 5577 лет назад
I wrote and created this film as my audio production dissertation project. The dissertation was based on the idea of establishing sound conventions and archetypes within the post-apocalyptic film genre and then applying them to a practical example. The film is based on the Stalker universe and follows the protagonist Smoke as he wanders through a dangerous area on the search for valuable items....
Lol I bought this game and all DLCs basically purely because of your tutorial videos. Regret nothing and thanks for these
Enjoy, it's a great game. Tons of content and creative building challenges
I've never heard of this game before but hell yeah Felix 😎
Awesome stuff! Reposted it on our discord 👍
Thank you!
Thanks for this. Very informative style and looking forward to more.
Glad it helped! Rogue coming soon
Very good series, very helpful for us beginners!!!!!
Would like to see you play on a higher difficulty like a rogue or something. I got pretty decent over some time with this game love it.
I'm planning to do the last two classes on normal, then do some of my favourite builds on Impossible and/or the Sunforge!
@@FelixJaeger0412 😎👍
What you are doing is really good for Dawncaster community. I am really glad that people are making videos like this
Glad to hear it helped!
You can play class warrior please
I'll get them all done eventually!
❤❤❤
Loving this beginner series. Could you do a vid on the most efficient way to spend fateshards?
Hey - one day, sure. I've got to finish off the other two classes first, then I'll move on to the other stuff. That being said, I already had maxed out all the characters before we moved over to the new fateshard system, so I've been at 9999+ FS for a long time now and never had to think about them 😅
I really appreciate the walk through and your analysis. As a beginner, Ive struggled a bit with this game but you’ve provided some clarity and im eager to get back and try to win some runs. Thanks man. Liked and subbed.
easily the best review I have ever seen
50mm 1.4 ZA Zeiss is good lens. I've this len, but my skill is weaker than Felix Jaeger. Many good photoes here.
I too love and shoot an A91 and 50ZA. Do yourself a favor and grab a Really Right Stuff base plate (and not any other brands which I've also tried) and it makes a world of a difference for ergonomics; it's pricey but worth every penny.
This was a brilliant tutorial, thanks!
Thank you, glad it helped
My main class getting some love :D
First!
have you ever use the Sigma 50mm 1.4 art? if so, witch one would you say its best?
I have the viltrox adapter and was thinking about what lenses might work well with it. Thanks for the review and making me realise to stay clear of this one
really tks a lot <3
It's build for night shot on sunny day it's almost useless at 0,95 you need very low Iso and fast shutter or an nd filter to compensate, but if you like shiny Twilight and a sky full of stars it could have some use with long exposure, definitly a niche market but a usefull one for some very technical photographer.
You make it look so easy
Recently noticed used prices have dropped under £700, probably because of the new Sigma and GM 1.4 lens releasing, so jumped at the chance to grab the Zeiss. Really great review and content on your channel - would be great to see more.
It's sort of an old lens by now so it's a good grab for that price range
@@FelixJaeger0412 DXOMARK have retested this lens with the A7R IV and the sharpness was measured at 56.
I must have gotten a bad copy of this. It's soft and hazy wide open with crazy looking specular highlights in the eyes, almost like they're defocused. I don't know if this is a feature of the optics or a flaw in this copy. My Samyang 85 1.4 is sharper and more accurate wide open by a good margin....
This needs more views man. One of the most unwatched FFTG covers. Super good job 💯
Thank you!
Tlthe pictures are beautiful, what camera did u used
Thees were all on the Sony A9
So it seems it's a video lens, uh?
Good review - you are right I think but there's still something that draws me to this lens. The only thing you forgot to mention was that its low light / night time light ability will be very good.
older zeiss lense are better, even the cosina zeiss classic series
This lens is very very sharp, and has an beautiful bokeh, so I think maybe your specimen is garbage, since you have made this video.
When some people overpay for a lens they need to justify the purchase by overstating its niche-eeness. You're a straight shooter, thanks for the objective upload and demonstrating the reality of owning this lens independent of the mind.
Wow! Making a video trashing the Speedbooster when you cheaped out and bought a Viltrox instead. For your next review are you going to buy a Yongnuo lens and then blame Canon for the results.
"We live in an era where almost all modern equipment is objectively good" - I totally agree with you on this. It's paradise compared to just 10 years ago, and even then cameras were already very good - great review too
Beautiful photos 👋
Excellent review, wonderful diction. Keep it up!
Loads of gems of information in here! Thanks.
Excellent review... thanks!
Does this lens have IBS?
Really fun, helpful review. Disappointed that there aren't more videos! Cheers.
1:33 I don't think it's meaningful to compare this to a f1.8 lens. Most people are interested in this lens because it offers 0.95 aperture - in my case for shooting in low light. f1.8 renders 3 whole stops darker!
I think you don't know that eren is your brother lol
1:27 Naaaaaaaaaaaa liaarrrrr But nice video 🔥
:D
what camera body did u used here?
This is a Sony A9
This sold me on the lens. Thank you!
Throughout this video, you're speaking way too quickly. Your messages are getting lost. Slow down and make a nine minute video instead of seven. Your comments deserve to be savored.
Thank you, noted!
Not so much a photographer’s lens so much as a cinematographer’s delight. Worth every cent for me.
Love this review/love letter haha. Fantastic work 👍
I own this lens and your review was 100% accurate. It has been a fun lens to own, particularly for my video work for the shallow DOF, but it's probably time to move on from it. I'll probably trade it in or sell it. Good job on the review!
Sell it to me
Спасибо за обзор!
