Turn Vsync off and set the max framerate to unlimited, graphics to fast, clouds off, 8 or 5 chucks of render render distance and 5 of simulation distance

All I see him is clicking the screen 3 times to get a response, constantly.

Plan on doing this for use with my crt monitor. Can’t wait.

could you try using a gpu with the pi maybe then it would run a lot smoother because i feel like the pi suffers more because of graphics then actual cpu power

i just flashed my OnePlus 6T with the mobian image, but it goes to a screen where it tells me to press enter to continue, and i have no way of doing so.

I'm the owner of Geekworm, and I'd like to thank you in advance for shining a light on the x1003 issue; The problems with the video and our improvements need to be pointed out: 1. The FPC is connected in the wrong direction in the video (clearly visible at 1:01 into the playback). The FPC is clearly labelled as TO PI5 and TO PIP. 2; 2. From the feedback we have received in the past few months, in the early stage, most of the problems can be solved by updating the eeprom of PI 5, and a small part of them may be the problem of the wiring. So we now provide an extra white FFC cable, so that X1003 will provide a total of two FFC cables just in case.

How did you use it as a file server when one SSD is not that good for data preservation?

Same thing happened to me. you're still good. The latch pivots up and pivots down and slides back when locked. I carefully put mine back and it works. Geekworm m300 has the same kind of latch. It's troublesome to put it back but will till work.

Maybe the instructions should be better? There is no logical circuitry on that HAT. Literally nothing but wires going to the SSD data pins and power delivery - that's it. There's nothing "between" the pi and the SSD but the ribbon cable and traces on the hat PCB. If you're having SSD compatibility issues it's a config/driver issue> And yea don't open ribbon cable connectors with your fingers. they are delicate. use something small and pointy so you have leverage to pry up the edges.

Do you have access to Google/Play store?

Hey I had a few questions on this.. Any updates on how it runs (like are there any updates on the drivers/hardware accel)? Are there also apps that are incompatible, or is it safe to assume the majority of apps will run? And finally, does it recognize your SIM card from within waydroid (I'll probably assume yes)? To explain my use case, there's 2 apps I'm kind of stuck with that are dependent on Android, it's a digital identification app and banking app, the former of which probably requires the SIM card to be recognized, as it's rather peculiar about it's authentication.

I was abble to run smoothly few games using Batocera OS without OC at all but on Raspberry OS it ran poorly.

If you use Optifine, you can essentially double your framrate. I was able to achieve a locked 30Hz on 1280x1024 with most settings scaled down, render distance 5 or 6. I expect that it'll run a light micro mod pack ~20 decently with a pi 7" screen in a cyberdeck config

Hey! Thanks for the video! An idea for a following video: controller compatibility with the Raspberry Pi 5 (Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS3, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and others). I know you have the Series X/S, and maybe the Xbox 360, so if you could at least show them working flawlessly (or not) and how to configure them (if needed), maybe firmware updating idk, it'd be neat. for minecraft try fabric loader with the sodium mod it optimizes the game more. I believe when I tried minecraft on my raspberry pi 400 I was able to get around 15-20 fps

I've been able to get doom3 running very acceptably... There are a couple things that help... Running the desktop at 1080p rather than 2k or higher helps... Also switching to x11 helpa. From there you can play with the quality settings in the game... I think I'm currently running it with medium quality settings.

What about Minecraft java I've been searching and Im surprised nobody has done it

The "mesa-vulkan-drivers" package wasn't installed by default on Raspberry Pi OS 64-bit, when I tried it. Installing it made Vulkan try to work. But when I tried the Vulkan game, Veloren (it has a native arm64 port in flatpak), the GPU locked up once I entered the world.

Very interesting about the H.264 encoding/decoding, I bought a rp5 to use as a media player on the tv's spare hdmi port, constantly playing through a shuffled list of music videos, however i've been having problems with all media players trying to get more than 10% of the videos to play at all. Maybe in a few months there will be software fixes so that VLC etc can play more variety of codecs better on the rp5 but for now I've shelved the idea.

how is possible go to recovery mode without using the 2 pins action? My board doest have those pins, only holes

The lack of a file manager is a bummer. I just finished installing Lineage OS ATV onto an Nvidia Shield Pro 2019 and I would actually recommend using the Shield over a Jetson for a couple of reasons. It is a purpose built ATV box but that is not one of them LOL. It also has no file manager so I don't think it is possible to install apk's from the OS. It is more powerful than the Jetson but more importantly there is a TWRP recovery image for it. TWRP has a built in file manager so when the Shield is in TWRP recovery mode, you copy your apk files from a usb drive directly into the apps folder on the Shield. So far, apps that I have installed this way have worked quite well.

I’m just curious if android would allow a Nano on the play store. Linux (Ubuntu) can do RUclips just fine, I’m just curious about the play store on it🤷🏻‍♂️

I lost moment to install the gapps, now my Jetson only show Nvidia Games on AndroidTV. Is there some way to install Gapps from this point? I tried to enter Recovery Mode so I can execute adb sideload but none worked. Can I still get into Recovery Mode?

Did you install any cooling fan for the jetson nano, as mine is slow as it overheats?
