OMG he left out about 3 inches of spline that goes into what turns the ring gear and pinion about 3/4 of the strength of that axel is lost now! Common sense would tell anyone to just find another axel.

How is the timing right and the crankshaft balanced? I'd like to see it in the engine and running. Also like to see how it got broken.
