The retro trooper seems more based on the original toy colors than the animation. Might eventually just say "screw it"and make a repainted custom figure, but it's weird to me they still haven't done the marvel comics style of trooper yet color wise. The female trooper 2 pack they put out a while ago had the straps colored like that for one of them, and there have been several red mask troopers. Surely it's not that hard to do a trooper with a red mask and tan/yellow straps, right? If they DO make one, I hope they make a scarface headsculpt. There's only really been one figure of him and it was back at the start of the 25th figures. Because of him I actively sought out like 3 marvel comics colored troopers from the cobra 5 pack they put out around that time to stand around him. I really wish the cloth/officer head they keep using wasn't wider than the standard trooper head because it slightly stretches out the trooper helmet in a way that looks awkward when you look at it up close. In terms of the army builders I've managed to actually get it's weirdly mainly python patrol due to clearance/discounts. I have like 4 python patrol officers (green. The green plastic on the arms weirdly seems prone to stress marks even thought here's no pressure being put on it by the joints. Those don't have this problem though as they use the officer helmet along with the cloth head. The SECOND release one actually colored like the original python officer figure was the first one they did like this with the wider officer head paired with the trooper helmet, but it came with an alternate head that was the original trooper sculpt so that's the head I've used for him. Really like the idea of swapping the black and red masks around between figures in this grouping you've got. If I had a bit more spare cash I'd probably have done something similar lmao. Actually might be a good idea to get into resin casting. Been aiming to do that for a few years but never got around to managing to get the proper setup for that kind of thing. You could theoretically get infinite amount of heads to swap around via recasting, but you'd need to paint in the details yourself.

Do you find that this set is easy to/designed to be taken apart? I like how modular it is but I have concerns that once I put it together it will be difficult to disassemble to reconfigure

I missed on the Ferret and Tiger Paw because cart issues, and terrible preorder window and low production. They need to produce more and keep the preorder windows open longer. Also exclusives are terrible. If you have an exclusive, plan ahead and leave a large preorder window open. Plus, max 5 is stupid, let people buy a max of 2 for vehicles (max 3 for figure) with a 30 minute refresh then you can order again to the same address and/or same card. So you can't order within 30 minutes if it is going to the same address or is the same charge card. I've had Walmart cancel me three times and I put in my order inside 5 mins of release, and twice at Target. I had to get the Stinger at BBTS. The distribution is so terrible that you have to be online at release to preorder because you don't know if there will ever be a restock, which happens mostly randomly and those are gone, or never. Or they restock like 8 times with Chuckles, or it's always stocked, but most of the time the more popular things get 1 small restock (at random) that sells out in 5 minutes and that is it. So hopefully they have thousands of Tiger Paws cancelled or shelf warming.

The Stinger was supposed to be an Amazon exclusive but it’s available on various sites and is still available on Amazon as of me writing this. Hasbro has said multiple times with store exclusives they are only allowed to sell a very small number on their website. As to the Pulse exclusive Ferret, I managed to be on when it was released and got mine but it shouldn’t be a stressful thing trying to buy them worrying if they will sell out if you are five minutes late. And props to you for the Shark callout.

What never ceases to amaze me is how easy this would be to solve. HasBlow could easily do something along the lines of the following: 1. Show off a preview of an upcoming product on their website, have a feedback area for all to see 2. Once Product is close to 90%, have PRE ORDERS open up with a BUY BEST BEFORE DATE, once that Date closes, Sales are Finalized 3. KEEP the PRE ORDER Open for Big Box and other Retailers, showing the Sales Numbers to them, so they can Order appropriately w a/BBB4 4. Once that Final BBB4 Date has come and gone, move to Production, HasBlow, of course will make Extra depending on Sales 5. Have a FINALIZED SAMPLE once Production has Started to show off to the Fans, Collectors and Consumers, keeping Interest High For Shipping HasBlow could 1. Have ALL PRE ORDERS show up to a Big Box Retailer of the Fans/Collectors/Consumers choice, then notified when available for pick up, this would give the Retailer WALK IN Traffic that they want 2. Wait a Few/Several Weeks then ship the Big Box and other Local Retailers their Quantities, thus allowing for yet more Foot Traffic, while at the same time giving the Fans/Collectors/Consumers a chance to regroup and for those that didn't get in, a second chance to go grab it 3. For those that wanted it shipped Directly to their home, they would be the Last to receive the product, thereby pushing them to hopefully ship it to the Big Box Retailer to initiate Foot Traffic, if they want it early In this way, EVERYONE would be Satisfied and EVERYONE WINS I am in the same boat as you, I also did not get the Ferret, wasn't happy about it, but that's how this Sh. You can swap the snake eyes Scarlett with the retro card. You just have to swap the dumbbell joint

That head looks great! I went with a Marvel Legends "Forge" head as it works pretty good as a Puerto Rican guy from New York City which Zap's file card depicts. My next kitbash will be Scarlett. Keep up the content!
