Thank you so much. I always use 12 x 12 scrapbook papers . You can get the papers from scrapbook shops very easily, as there is still a lot of this collection around . I used Mintay - Grandmas Attic collection You Just need about 5 of the sheets from this collection White, black and turquoise card stock.

No sorry , You need to pop a backing card into the pocket so you do not cut the back plastic of the pocket. Pop the card with the flap next to the plastic sleeve where you need to cut the slit. take a texta and mark the top and bottom of the flap onto the plastic sleeve, where you need to do slit. use a ruler and cut a straight line just in from the edge of the sleeve from the top mark and bottom mark . Once you have popped your photos onto the cards you can stick the flap by using double sided tape. pop the flap into the slit in the sleeve and slide under the card in the sleeve and then remove tape and attach.

thank you so much, love using some of my die cuts and other stash with the paper collections as it just adds to the overall layout.

I normally use 3 x 4 but sometimes a 6 x 4 sneaks into the mix. I do this because some people get photos done from shops and do not print their own so I try to stick with the common sizes.

hi sue, Please do, I really dont do true project life stuff which is like a day to day or month to month diary., but I do love the plastic sleeve system that project life uses. The sleeves allow you to do beautiful photo albums instead of the normal 12 x 12 pages.

The only time you get those boxs is if you buy a box set of project life sleeves. The pizza boxs you get when you buy papers online are 12 x 12 and would fit the sleeves. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Good to hear that those cheat sheets makes the process a bit easier. I also now put up cutting sheet for each card before I make them. The process takes a bit longer but I think it is worth it.

Hi thank you so much, I dont use kits as such but do get Normal scrapbooking paper collections printed by paper companies and sometimes buy the ephemeria packs that go with these paper lines. I find this gives you so much more scope for scrapping than buying pre selected kits ( and cheaper too)

The tape I use is by X-Press it double sided tape I use 6 mm wide tape for my card bases. I have had albums for years and this tape once stuck down stays put for many many years, so no opening up your albums and finding loose pages.

@@Projectlifedebsway awesome! I was at a crop yesterday and we were talking about different adhesives. I have had a few pages completely fall apart and I’m pretty sure it’s when I used Tombow 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yes husbands loud tv. Phone mic even in different room picks up every sound. This collection was one I put to one side with a sigh and what am I supposed to do with this paper. But our holiday to the outback region of broom match the colour tonings so well. So I now never think when my paper club papers come oh dear hate that collection because sometime you will use it.

Thank you, The colours of these papers were so nice, I had to find a way to use them as I dont do many xmas layouts or cards and I get kits each month from this company. I had such fun with this layout as started as a challenge to myself. Sometimes it pays to think outside the box.

Yes I do. the next layout after this one will be the reverse. Portrait first then do the landscape. I normally just make the first portrait card in the top left hand corner the eye candy card and let the rest flow on from there.

Sorry Thankfully nearly all the rest of the video is filmed the correct way and that segment on one of the cards somehow I didn't flip the video when putting together. I am only a home person doing videos and not a professional hoping to encourage people to scrapbook to keep it strong and vibrant so unfortunately things do go wrong occasionally.

Thats why this kit got pushed to the back of my stash, but I had real fun once I started the only paper I added was the red spotty paper to add some contrast. The layout really went together easily once I had done the top left hand eye candy card. Sometimes thats the way things go. The papers you think you will hate end up being some of your favorites.

Thank you so much, Please do give it a try. If you dont have the collection I have done just choose a collection that suits what you want to do and just use my layout Cards as a template to copy . If I want to do a quick layout I sometimes use an old layout I like and change the papers etc.

hi Sheila, Thats what I found with mini albums too much other stuff going on and not easy to look at, and 12 x 12 layouts did not hold enough stuff, so when I found this system it was a light bulb moment. It has all the best stuff from all scrapbooking. A win win. I do look at some of my older layouts for inspiration for my new layouts, so please do give it a go,(but watch out its addictive) choosing your papers etc is part of the fun. I have already done a few layout process videos doing a travel theme. I have decided to use A grungy paper called destination by be arty ( which is done by color blast and is a aussie firm) for my next layout and this will be a travel themed one as just come back from a great holiday interstate in tasmania so have lots of pics to do. I am so glad I could help, Love doing scraping this way as it allows you loads of freedom to choose your own papers. Just pick something simular or if you are game differant and use my cards as a template with the papers you choose. and just follow along and adapt to your stuff.
