So sad that they did not see the infallible word of God and this plan of salvation as being complete. The sacrifice of Jesus is sufficient and there is nothing to add to or take away from the gospel of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

First picture of a woman and little girl is not Elizabeth Ann CLARIDAGE McCune, but Marie Alma Angelina MENARD McCune, (who was married to Elizabeth's son Alfred William McCune Jr (1873-1923)) and Alma's 1st child, my grandmother, Elizabeth Francesca McCUNE. The picture I estimate to have been taken about 1902 since my grandmother Beth was born in 1998 and in this photo she looks about 4 years old.

absolutely, everyone is welcome, I have been there several times and it is a classic stunningly beautiful building, the don't build masterpieces like this any longer. Take your time and just walk around to all the public areas and just take in all the hidden things in the architecture that most people don't ever take the time to admire and enjoy.
