DANG! Sheniqua cooked !! Girl, this episode was excellent !! Thank you two for talking about this sensitive but much needed topic. It was talked about with such grace, wisdom and boldness!!!

So you think he gave you cancer so you’d have no choice but to rely on him and you think this is some kind of endorsement to WANT to worship him? Nah you give me cancer you’re not a good being. Edit: That’s like saying oh my BF won’t let me have a job so I have no choice but to rely on him for everything…isn’t he greeeeat?
I was fortunate to end up not having it, but for a long time the doctors were very unsure. The fact I went through that was not the fact that God did it, but because we are in a world where sickness happens. He allowed me to go through that. I was able to turn something that happened to me from bad to good by turning to God. When I was experiencing it I was fortunate enough to have peace even through the unknown! I hope this helps🤍 Jesus loves you!
It's often a mental battle as we live in a society wanting instant gratification as opposed to being patient . . . which is so much easier said then done. God Bless :)

So glad you loved the episode, and I pray it was able to bless you! I love your question, thank you so much for asking!! When we are in Christ and we seek Him constantly, even when we mess up we can KNOW that we are still secure. Jesus goes after the 1 regardless of the 99. When we choose to walk away from God and not be in relationship with Him, is when we decide to live our lives apart from Christ and then we are no longer "secure". We can know that when we have the desire to be in relationship with Jesus, even when we stumble He will still be there. Hope this helps!!

I'm not listening to this because if you "dislike religion"...and don't mention James 1:27 in the title or the "more info" section, then I must assume that whatever you have to say may be NICE, but is inadequate. “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world” (James 1:27). Doing those things ARE a part of having a relationship with Jesus because what we do to the least of his chosen elect, we do unto him.
