Von Hertzen Brothers have become the "Von Hertzen Fathers" of their 9th baby, that is, their new album In Murmuration, coming out this October 25!
We called the band frontman, Mikko, to ask him what gave birth to the new songs, what amazes him so much about starlings (resulting in the first single of the same name) and why humans' world will never be as beautiful to him as the realm of birds. Some philosophical stuff there!

I discovered death stars when they released their song cyanide. It’s been a journey for them as it has with us as well. I recently saw their newer stuff and I thought to myself ‘my how they’ve grown’ and I hoped they were doing well. It’s good to hear they’re still out there creating. I wish him luck on his journey.

Even though it's been 9 years and I discovered them in high school 2006, they have maintained a spot in my frequent listens.
I descovered them when Night Electric Night came out 🖤 Death Dies Hard immediately got my attention for this intriguing Amazing Band, each individual brought something with my attention, they are incredible, so glad for this new album as well It's Awesome!!!!! 🖤🔥 Since 2009 when my ears heard them for the first time it was definitely like taking my first hit , it's the only way I could describe it, incredible and mind-blowing. And yes I'm clean and sober since 2014 😊 Would love for them to do a US tour 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
