Where can i get this adapter mod
I got mine from 3drap if I recall correctly, but lookup "TH8S aftermarket shift knob adapter" on either Etsy or eBay and you should find something
Is this shifter an upgrade from the Logitech shifter or they the same thing just different company
I'd say it is, I have a buddy with the TH8A (which is the pricier Thrustmaster shifter) with the Ricmotech short throw mod and the TH8S feels a lot like it. Requires about twice the force than the Logitech shifter to put into gear. You also get a 7th gear and a dedicated reverse gear which is pretty sweet. Also interesting to note that I paid the same price than the Logitech for the Thrustmaster because of an open box deal.
@@Kid_Strange I’m debating on what to do, I’m giving my 9yo brother my old Logitech wheel pedal, and shifter. There’s a SHH shifter on eBay that’s bid is super cheap, and then there’s a Th8s which the buy it now is super cheap, the only thing is supposedly there’s something jiggling around on the inside and it’s a tad looser. They haven’t opened it or anything but I’m guessing a screw came out. On the other hand if it’s a broken piece of plastic it could just be all in there head or I got a slightly shitty shifter for like $30. So it’s not a total loss but I’m waiting on this SHH shifter it’s only got 3 days, hopefully not a lot of campers and at the very least hopefully it stays cheap and doesn’t sky rocket
